KCOM Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
James 🎗 (@jameskwiths) reportedIts ridiculous that @KCOMcare @KCOMhome have not provided any updates and we are having to hear from people online that have rung them that it is expected to be down for a couple days. #KCOM
-
Tosh&Piffle (@t__and__p) reported@thomasforth Hull's network was owned by the council. Due to an accident of history, it retained its local monopoly long after BT had to let others onto its network. As Oftel (sic) homed in, KCOM invested heavily in broadband technologies, to fend off BT and compete outside its area.
-
Dan (@danjsansam) reportedKcom going down again early???
-
Rach (@dinkyrach) reported@zigzagtoes @Tosh_ag @MikeeP1981 Kcom itself has primary and secondary dns. You actually miss out on locally cached content by not using Kcom’s dns for your resolution.
-
Richard (@Droid_1989) reportedThat KCOM issue in Hull last night is the exact reason why KCOM's monopoly over there is a really bad idea.
-
Paul B (@paulbowler60) reported@RobBfromDerby @KEdge23 Ha. Even if number 1 was a thing, having moved from Derbyshire for work, I still wouldn’t get a decent Wi-Fi signal from the wonderful KCom of Hull 😬
-
Phil Bagwell (@SupernovaPhil88) reportedGod help KCOM, Internet is about to go down ten fold in HU3, 4, 5 and 6
-
Andrew Ross (@Andy_Ross1962) reported@Chamaerion @andreajenkyns Hull never had red phone boxes. They were never part of the Post Office or BT. They are owned by KCOM and are usually cream coloured.
-
WanderingSocialist (@RightHater) reported@The_B KCOM have THE worst comms processes. Literally took them 5 hours to even respond and the website still says no issues. Terrible.
-
Jake James #FBPE #RejoinEU #FBPA (@MFIJake) reported@ReformDylan @andreajenkyns Yet more ignorance from Reform activists. Hull has never had traditional red phone boxes. It's always had its own independent telephone company, now KCom. And its phone boxes are cream. BT has never operated in Hull.
