@falamgir @KCOMhome I have just revisited this article and Kcom have actually used poles because the UG cable was armoured, so the poles are the first and only way to provide the fibre service to the residents at this time. Connexin have the right to use Kcoms ducts, that's the difference.

@SueHodg78985334 @looknorthBBC So get onto kcom and demand they let others use there infrastructure, kcom as put up hundreds of poles up all over Hull because it would have cost to much to go underground,I totally agree with you're grievances but the problem is kcoms monopoly of internet provider

@KCOMhome @greatdriffradio @East_Riding Your home Directory delivery ability+ correspondence is poor at best. U WILL BE THE LAST PEOPLE ON EARTH I EVER BUY fibre from unless forced. TAKE THAT as a DERECOMMENDATION through experience. Several emails, unless youve recently SENT something KCOM should be Kpoop

@peter_levy “omg poles are ruining the city” are people forgetting when KCOM does it. Same people who moan KCOM have a monopoly are now the ones who don’t want other companies. If KCOM were so easy to work with why are all other supplies having to build their own network?

@EE Hi David. She has moved to an area on the east coast which isn't an area you provide great speeds for - KCom seem to have a monopoly over there. Upon realising her speeds were dreadful, she contacted you and got told she had to complete her contract regardless of the poor speeds.

@paulnickersonuk @KCOMhome Good speed and service, terrible pricing is how I have a love hate relationship with KCOM.

@GreyAreaUK All providers will be going this way to support the PSTN being retired and replaced with VoIP. Should be okay in general (not withstanding the ongoing issues my mother has had with KCOM). I'd trust PlusNet much more with this.
