So it would appear Iโ€™m not the only one with internet connectivity issues in Hull #kcom #internet #hull

The @The1904Club is a good listen but @bbcburnsy can you get Kcom to come down and sort your internet out? You're massively delayed and your voice keeps dropping out.

@leemelonopie @KCOMhome It's not our equipment, it is kcom not supplying the service we are paying for

@steviee_p @PollardRach But whether itโ€™s the only provider or not, if the service is ****, itโ€™s ****. I lived in hull for 3 years and knew tonnes of people on it (50+) and every single person had a bad experience. You could say the same about reviews for every company but none are as bad as Kcom

@bragginghull Is it time to get a sports psychologist in to address our dreadful home form (although Iโ€™ve never felt like the Kcom/MKM has ever felt like home). Last season I can take, but this season seems to be a burning issue.

@indianasc0nes @PollardRach I'm in Hull on Kcom, never had any bother with it whatsoever. If your WiFi is causing you problems then it's likely that your router is at fault. Kcom offer a free service to help with that also

@andreajenkyns Firstly, Hull is not in Lincolnshire. So it's not on your patch and is none of your business. Secondly, Hull has never had traditional red phone boxes, having its own independent phone company, KCom. They are cream.

@cb_doge This is massive for Starlink and the UKโ€™s rural communities. Ofcom officially recognising it as a legitimate broadband solution under the 10 Mbps USO rules changes the game. No more forcing people in hard-to-reach areas to wait endlessly for BT or KCOM when Starlink is already delivering reliable connectivity. Fewer premises now qualify for subsidised connections because Starlink is stepping us, thatโ€™s real progress. Innovation actually solving problems instead of endless bureaucracy. Well done to the team pushing this forward. Who else sees Starlink transforming connectivity in underserved regions like this? ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿช„

BREAKING: Starlink has received another major regulatory win in the UK. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง The UK's communications regulator, Ofcom, has confirmed that Starlink qualifies as a viable broadband alternative under the country's 10 Mbps Broadband USO rules. โ€ข Confirmation provided directly to ISPreview โ€ข Properties with affordable Starlink access may no longer be eligible for a USO connection from BT or KCOM โ€ข Some USO requests have already been declined because Starlink service was available โ€ข Ofcom previously said lower-cost Starlink plans reduced the number of underserved premises to around 4,000 The decision further reinforces Starlink's role as a trusted broadband option for rural and hard-to-reach communities.
