Sam Reed (@tehreedy) reportedHmm @KCOMhome you seem to have members of staff coming down my street telling lies. I’ve just had an argument with someone telling me I haven’t got fibre, but I definitely know I have. It may not be KCOM fibre, but it is Openreach fibre. This feels very misleading to customers

Admiral Atomic (@AdmiralAtomicTV) reported@KCOMhome @Matty_MyStRo Yeah I received no notification, emailed you a week ago that's still sitting on no response. I had terrible connection 90% less than what I paid for and now for the last 19 hours the internet in my whole town has been offline with no communication. What's up with that kcom

Tosh&Piffle (@t__and__p) reported@thomasforth Hull's network was owned by the council. Due to an accident of history, it retained its local monopoly long after BT had to let others onto its network. As Oftel (sic) homed in, KCOM invested heavily in broadband technologies, to fend off BT and compete outside its area.

MotherOfFestiveDragons 🐝👩🏼🎓🇪🇺🦖 (@HullMichelle75) reported@JanPurling Oh Jan 😔 Hope you feel better soon. Someone tweeted about KCOM earlier and said it’s going to be down a couple of days 😯 x

Steve Parker (@steviee_p) reported@indianasc0nes @PollardRach I'm in Hull on Kcom, never had any bother with it whatsoever. If your WiFi is causing you problems then it's likely that your router is at fault. Kcom offer a free service to help with that also

Gary Yorkshire (@GaryYorkshire) reported@JPAzure @MrCowper Alternative means … go on, like what? Move house to an area with BT coverage? Ring up Elon and get some Starlink? I’m all ears. It’s not the fact that KCOM systems go down, it’s the long fix times. We’re hearing ‘hopefully by Tuesday’.

Jake James #FBPE #RejoinEU #FBPA (@MFIJake) reported@ReformDylan @andreajenkyns Yet more ignorance from Reform activists. Hull has never had traditional red phone boxes. It's always had its own independent telephone company, now KCom. And its phone boxes are cream. BT has never operated in Hull.
-
Andrew Ross (@Andy_Ross1962) reported@ReformDylan @andreajenkyns Apart from Hull never had red boxes, they were usually cream, KCOM was never part of the GPO or BT
