Andrew Ross (@Andy_Ross1962) reported@Chamaerion @andreajenkyns Hull never had red phone boxes. They were never part of the Post Office or BT. They are owned by KCOM and are usually cream coloured.
-
Steve Parker (@steviee_p) reported@indianasc0nes @PollardRach There's no other line based provider in the area for people to review, that's the issue and a lot of people tend only to leave reviews when disgruntled. If any other provider was enter the area it wouldn't make a difference as they would rent Kcom lines though M3 are laying cable

Frank Castle (@FrankCa52742356) reported@ToonDazza @andreajenkyns KCOM manages the phone network and most broadband internet services in the Hull area. It's a private company. Nothing to do with the Council.
-
Silver Humber (@SilverHumber) reported@KCOMhome My Lightstream internet is still down despite multiple reboots. What's up KCom?
-
ItsJustJosh (@Craucoes) reported@RomeoOscarEcho @declang05 KCOM are a bad company but one of thee best providers in the UK they’re one of limited company’s that provide Full Fibre across the UK. Issue is staff and management there are shocking and don’t care for customers. When I worked there we had 13 mins to take a call or loose pay :/

Bean. 🍇 (@HLJOHNO) reported@TheRealJamieKay Those phone boxes have been there for literal YEARS. We're talking pre-pandemic. Also they have been decorated by KCOM, not the council, because Hull FAMOUSLY has their own phone network/internet provider rather than using BT. Their phone boxes were originally white not red.

24 Karat Recordings (@Recordings24) reported@KCOMcare im leaving KCOM Can't message you. "unable to send" and customer service sucks. Speeds are awful and I pay for 400mb down. Lucky to get 200. I'm out of contract and wont be renewing

Kris Bean (@kkrrbb76) reported@KCOMhome installed 22 Feb. Remedial work reported to kcom. Wall box hanging off wall , cable loose and untidy, entry point hole for cable about 5 times bigger than the cable. Inspection on 14 April to report the install needs starting again. No further communication. Garbage.

JillHB (@jill_hb) reported@KCOMhome @houdsmum Hi Alyson, I’ve had exactly the same issue today. KCOM advised there’s an issue with the letter not including details of phone bolt-on package. Hope this helps.
