    @bt_uk No, we moved to Hull so we can now only get @kcom but we desperately want BT to bring a service to Hull that way we could actually get a whole weeks worth of internet. I don’t even bother switching Wi-Fi on my @ee phone I just use my data 🙄

    BREAKING: UK telecom regulator Ofcom confirms Starlink is a viable broadband alternative under the UK’s 10 Mbps Broadband USO rules. 🇬🇧 • Ofcom confirmed this directly to UK broadband publication ISPreview. • This means that if affordable Starlink service is available at a property, it may no longer qualify for a USO connection from BT or KCOM. • Some applicants have already been refused a USO connection because Starlink was available. • Back in May, Ofcom said cheaper Starlink plans helped reduce the number of premises without affordable decent broadband to around 4,000. This is good news for Starlink, giving it stronger recognition from the UK regulator as a real broadband solution for remote and underserved areas.

    @KCOMcare @KCOMhome another day, yet again Kcom Internet service is down. However, not according to there website. No online customer chat function. Help pages as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Terrible hold music. Maybe I'll get through this time 🤔

    Felix is this your exit strategy? When Kas community is down and KCom devs are grinding in bunkers to keep the Kas community going? To drag a prominent Kas leader and a top ranking nft project?     @cb_doge This is massive for Starlink and the UK’s rural communities. Ofcom officially recognising it as a legitimate broadband solution under the 10 Mbps USO rules changes the game. No more forcing people in hard-to-reach areas to wait endlessly for BT or KCOM when Starlink is already delivering reliable connectivity. Fewer premises now qualify for subsidised connections because Starlink is stepping us, that’s real progress. Innovation actually solving problems instead of endless bureaucracy. Well done to the team pushing this forward. Who else sees Starlink transforming connectivity in underserved regions like this? 🇬🇧🚀💖🪄

    @danjsansam @ThreeUK KCOM isn’t down they are just fitting new poles across all of hull to prevent widespread outages, they warned you of this 17 hours ago as it will last between 1-5am
