Jake James #FBPE #RejoinEU #FBPA (@MFIJake) reported@andreajenkyns Firstly, Hull is not in Lincolnshire. So it's not on your patch and is none of your business. Secondly, Hull has never had traditional red phone boxes, having its own independent phone company, KCom. They are cream.

hc (@indianasc0nes) reported@steviee_p @PollardRach Had BT in my flat for 2 years never had an issue. Currently got Sky at my partners house and it’s **** compared to BT but infinitely better than Kcom. Never heard a good thing about Kcom from anyone I’ve spoke to. Service is **** and they take weeks to repair issues

DogeDesigner (@cb_doge) reportedBREAKING: UK telecom regulator Ofcom confirms Starlink is a viable broadband alternative under the UK’s 10 Mbps Broadband USO rules. 🇬🇧 • Ofcom confirmed this directly to UK broadband publication ISPreview. • This means that if affordable Starlink service is available at a property, it may no longer qualify for a USO connection from BT or KCOM. • Some applicants have already been refused a USO connection because Starlink was available. • Back in May, Ofcom said cheaper Starlink plans helped reduce the number of premises without affordable decent broadband to around 4,000. This is good news for Starlink, giving it stronger recognition from the UK regulator as a real broadband solution for remote and underserved areas.

Jon Kirby (@JonKirby1974) reported@Craucoes @KCOMhome @Kcom I never said it was, you're lucky if you can ever get thru in the first place
-
Daniel Rose (@ExileAryui) reported@JonKirby1974 The issue is in any other city it wouldn’t effect the entire infrastructure such as retail or hospitality but most companies are forced to use kcom and now they are no doubt losing custom and therefor money, it’s a sham… and needs addressing.

vVSoull (@LeighJane19) reported@KCOMhome That's all u ever say kcom " working hard to fix it" 6 hours later joke

Jeanflambé 🇪🇺 (@jongibbins) reportedEvidently KCOM are having issues today. Therefore all internet access is down. Home and also businesses. I can't even buy milk from the Co-op as they are also affected. Maybe having a monopoly over such a large area isn't such a good idea after all ...
-
Luke Bedford (@lukebed79) reported@ExileAryui @KCOMhome The monopoly has broken. With MS3 network cables now laid or being laid around Hull and East riding there is another 7 choices of fibre providers in the area. Im leaving kcom next month to go in a better package which is £20 per month cheaper
