The people of Hull "kcom Internet is crap, we need a better alternative, nay, we DESERVE a better alternative!!!" Also the people of Hull "oy rival Internet company, don't you dare put that blasted pole down our street, be off with you forthwith" (or words to that effect) #NIMBY

  • AndrewN77197386 Andrew North (@AndrewN77197386) reported

Waiting for tech support for a land-line fault at #kcom on their chat for over 30 minutes... 70 mins in total. Can someone please respond.?

  • GunnOlly Olly Gunn (@GunnOlly) reported

What data do you have apart from pre-registration that supports the investment in our area? And don’t say pre-registration because the poles were never mentioned. Not even a huge saving over KCOM which have great customer service. Not painting a great picture of Connexin.

@KCOMhome @KCOMcare hi I’m not a KCOM customer as I live in a different part of the UK yet I’ve purchased a router of eBay that was something you called a “LightHub”. It’s a technicolour DGA4231 router. I’m just curious as to wether you’ve disabled engineer mode on it? Thanks

  • hullrickshaws Neil (@hullrickshaws) reported

@vicwhittamITV I went into KCOM last week and told them I want to cancel my £45 per month internet. I told them I was moving to Connexin for £25 per month. Suddenly, they could do it for £30 per month. Amazing?

KCom individually come to their own conclusions about TWSA, and they realize KDJ is probably the one who needs comforting the most so KDJ is just sitting there, braced for a slap in the face, feeling guiltier by the second when it never comes…he doesn’t know how to be forgiven

Why is the market for broadband so terrible in Hull? Monopolies. Prices have gone up by 9% in a year yet there are literally just two providers - Three and KCOM - that cover my residential area near a high street and the university

  • millstonebarn millstonebarn (@millstonebarn) reported

@GreyAreaUK All providers will be going this way to support the PSTN being retired and replaced with VoIP. Should be okay in general (not withstanding the ongoing issues my mother has had with KCOM). I'd trust PlusNet much more with this.

  • OptimisticLyon Prof. Sir SL. Backing Boris (@OptimisticLyon) reported

@UswitchUK I wasn't getting the broadband (KCom) speeds I was expecting, I rang and they sorted whilst I was on the phone, it was a firmware update that had affected my router, it just needed resetting which they talked me through, and I got the 500mbps I was expecting, excellent service.

  • Dying_Snail Darren (@Dying_Snail) reported

@KCOMcare day 8 without home Internet this time, it been a total of 14 days without home Internet from the last 28 days and I'm down as vulnerable customer on Kcom's system, but I see you still took the full £54.99.
