@LloydsBank Daughter wanted another £100 on uni student account overdraft to survive. Online, nope, hoped Grantham branch could help when home. No. Told it will affect credit rating if she tried again but "Have you considered a CREDIT CARD?". Disgusted, moving bank accounts ASAP.

So @LloydsBank now make the decision who I can shop with, not allowing me to purchase items from a site I have used without issue for over a year. Keep quoting SCA, despite the fact that I shopped with the same company on Monday with no issue.

@LloydsBank Hi. I spoke to someone and they told me it was an issue at the vendor's end, something to do with they hadn't signed up to some kind of fraud prevention certification.

@LloydsBank hi, I am unable to make payments online with my debit card - they keep being declined. Does not go to any authorization by text page either. Simply declined. Payment by PayPal using same debit card is fine - is there a problem you are aware of? Thanks

@LloydsBank Hi, my bank card is not allowing me to make any online purchases and waiting time on the phone to talk to a representative from Lloyds is 30 minutes. Can you help? Many thanks.

@LloydsBank Laura, you allowed a payment to the same company of the 1st Feb without any issue. This is rubbish and you know it, these laws came in September 2019, so why now? How many other payments to @Vinted have you not authorised today, because it should be every one according to this?

@LloydsBank Hi I've spent two hours on the phone with you this morning, so yes, you have the right number. Nothing could be sorted, I'm basically blocked from spending my own money on that website.

@LloydsBank Never had this problem before, despite the fact it seems those rules were implemented some time ago, in fact bought and paid for an item on Monday night. Have you suddenly changed your systems, as I'm pretty sure it's not Vinted.

@Riggs_martin @clarnic11 @LloydsBank I had the same problem earlier and spoke to someone at Lloyd's. They said it was something to do with the vendor I was trying to buy through having not signed up to some kind of bank fraudulent certification thing, so Lloyd's block the payments...1/2

@LloydsBank It would be great to have a more detailed reason as to why this service is not currently being considered by Lloyds & many other UK banks. The list is sparse.
