TwoAndTwoEquals (@TwoAndTwoEquals) reported@owenjonesjourno @LloydsBank @TheCanaryUK Banks have always acted as moral arbiters and they should be forbidden to do so. If they think a customer is a criminal they should report them. If they think customers are nasty little lying pricks they should have to give them notice so they can move their own accounts.

Burn3r (@Burn3rshtf) reported@owenjonesjourno @LloydsBank @TheCanaryUK Maybe they have been corrupt? Or broken some rules?

Lord Charles Pontoon (I will not lower my tone)💙 (@CharliePontoon) reported@LloydsBank why have you debanked @TheCanaryUK ? I’m a long standing customer of yours but unless Lloyd’s respond to this issue soon I will put up with the hassle of changing banks. Already started looking.

Umbong Umbongo (@umbongo666) reported@LeftieStats @LloydsBank @TheCanaryUK Could be concerns over fraud, money laundering, reputational risk for Lloyds, regulatory issues with the Canary Ltd Company accounts, financial mismanagement, winding up petitions, insolvency proceedings, international bank transfers from sanctioned countries such as Iran…etc

Shelock12 (@shelock99) reported@lespauljunior3 @LloydsBank I’d be wary. They’ve been caught out lying this week and haven’t corrected it. Why have they suddenly been debanked? Presume they’ve been with them a while. They support Hamas and Palestine Action could the bank have noticed a transaction and reported for investigation?
-
Lee (@leeboywelsh1) reported@LloydsBank Absolute joke of a bank. Writes a statement saying fixed but it's clearly not. Clearly your priorities are to debank people and not run a service that works every now and then. Will be leaving soon because this is happening all the time now.

Rita B🍀🇺🇸🇬🇧 (@RitaBFranc) reported@robertwlk @thatchmike I knew you would say @LloydsBank. My sisters husband died tragically, they froze their accounts. She had to borrow from her daughter to buy food, in the midst of the most traumatic time of their lives. Took weeks to unfreeze & get her access back. Mafioso banksters.
