@LloydsBank Daughter wanted another £100 on uni student account overdraft to survive. Online, nope, hoped Grantham branch could help when home. No. Told it will affect credit rating if she tried again but "Have you considered a CREDIT CARD?". Disgusted, moving bank accounts ASAP.

@LloydsBank One of the things many people lament about moving society online is the personal touch. Sacking someone for bothing to help a visually impaired customer suggests a very misguided application of policies. #timetochangebanks?

@LloydsBank Yes, more than once. Have also spoken with your call centres in Newport and somewhere in the midlands. I asked for the branch manager to contact me. Silence. So I rang Madhu on 7 June; she was unable to provide any info about the issue. I suggested we close the sole account.

@charlotteukcity @BBCNews @LloydsBank Helping a customer is now a sackable offence. Tells you everything you need to know about these giant companies. Remember this story the next time you see one of their dismal 'black horse' adverts

@LloydsBank It's working in the usual browser now — it just had fifteen minutes of not wanting to. Your Chief Exec probably tripped over the power cable again. Thanks anyway!

@BBCNews Lloyds is getting slammed for their customer service My experience of their customer service is exactly the reason I stay with them I was on holiday in Mauritania. No ATMS. No access to cash. @LloydsBank were flipping fabulous, & without doubt went more than an extra mile for me

Hello @LloydsBank it's been three days I have been trying to contact you over a declined transaction and am unable to speak to a human being. I have approved the transaction, but it declined 3x (tried another website and it was declined a 4th time). Would you be able to help?

Traditional banks are dead to me. In a branch filling in forms for the 3rd time to get access to a saving account that @LloydsBank locked me out of when I switched to @StarlingBank over a year ago. Forms. Branches. “I’ll just ask the manager”...dead.
