@LloydsBank Daughter wanted another £100 on uni student account overdraft to survive. Online, nope, hoped Grantham branch could help when home. No. Told it will affect credit rating if she tried again but "Have you considered a CREDIT CARD?". Disgusted, moving bank accounts ASAP.

@LloydsBank what number do we call to get straight through to a human being for customer service. Your online chat is useless and can’t answer basic questions.

LLOYDS APP SHAMBLES @LloydsBank managed to turn online banking into a raffle where nearly half a million customers got a peek at someone else’s finances. Open the app to check your balance, leave with a stranger’s transactions, account details and national insurance number. Just the sort of premium service that really says trusted high street institution. The bank says an overnight software defect caused the chaos, which is a way of admitting someone fiddled with the wiring and half the country briefly thought their money had gone on a car they never bought. Customers were left panicked, confused and wondering whether they’d been hacked. Lloyds responded with goodwill payments averaging about £38 each, which apparently is now the going rate for accidental identity.. This is the magic of modern banking. Total convenience right up until your app starts freelancing as someone else’s wallet. The regulators are now circling, the bank is very sorry, and the rest of us are once again being asked to trust the same people who cannot update software without turning basic banking into a national farce. @AndrewM54363806 @LloydsBank The problem is everytime I message and call I get asked to go through the sane procedures I've done constantly. It's very tedious and frustrating they are like robots not listening to what they are bieng told and don't wNt to admit they have a problem. I know many people now

@LloydsBank How can Lloyds deem Amazon, Sainsburys and Morrisons to be a risk and hence block my cards, even though I have more than enough funds,,Also my two nearest branches have now closed,,leaving a City centre the only choice,,at 80 years iof age it is difficult to park and get there so not a viable option..Seems we can no longer make deposits at the post office any more

@DavidWebbTweet @jonniespence @LloydsBank David, kindly, get with the times you old fart. Biometrics are far more secure than passwords. Regardless, they do not have to inform you. It is an update that has been advertised on their website. It does not leave anyone open to hacking at all. All it means is, 1/2

@DavidWebbTweet @NPC14 @LloydsBank The app has had biometric login capability for as long as I can remember. As for the website, I’m prompted for a username and password (i.e no change).

Thank you @LloydsBank for your help today after I had a very embarrassing, stupid moment this afternoon which resulted in me becoming a victim of fraud (someone called me pretending to be Lloyds). Man on the phone had my account sorted and money back into my account within half an hour and a new bank card in the post. 10/10 customer service thank you & I will never be so stupid ever again
