ian 'spike' milligan (@spikestweeting) reported@hopkinscricket @LloydsBank The moment the high street branch closes change everything to a bespoke online bank. We are paying for a service these banks are not providing.
-
Steve Leonard (@steveleonard72) reported@LloydsBank The issue is that the app and desktop Chrome browser login does not update the card to Visa, it still sees it as MasterCard unfortunately.

I am just me (@andy_uk44) reported@LloydsBank No I won’t as I know you can’t do anything in fact I’m waiting for the ceo to return my email but that won’t happen will it as they rather pass it to some poor customer support person so they don’t have to face the burden of the customer themselves ,I regret the day I joined LB

David Webb (@DavidWebbTweet) reported@FreeAndyT @LloydsBank But they take the settings from the app on your phone and apply them to your account. That means when you log in from any PC it doesn't ask for your password. Obviously PCs aren't equipped to check fingerprints or anything so the security is very weak.

Clayton Shivers (@Clayshiv) reported@steveleonard72 @LloydsBank This is the painful side of card migrations that never gets talked about. Embedded payment subscriptions break silently during network switches, and the customer has to figure it out. Update the card details in each subscription manually — most providers let you do it in account settings.

- (@lb_2561) reported@DavidWebbTweet @jonniespence @LloydsBank David, kindly, get with the times you old fart. Biometrics are far more secure than passwords. Regardless, they do not have to inform you. It is an update that has been advertised on their website. It does not leave anyone open to hacking at all. All it means is, 1/2

🇾🇪 (@DarthFuzz) reported@DavidWebbTweet @LloydsBank Keep scrolling down on that page you were on. It’s the App, and it’s nothing new, Biometrics have been used in it for years - it was Touch ID and now Face ID

Andrew Moore (@AndrewM54363806) reported@kiborocket @LloydsBank I am also getting this error since last Thursday. Logged an IT ticket over the phone last week and chased up today. More than just me having this problem anyway which is good to see (sort of)

Linda (@lindadotlouise) reported@LloydsBank Cheers all sorted now. My phone will not support your new app, do you know how long the old app will work for?

Hotdiggilydawgxo (@hotdiggilydawg) reportedThank you @LloydsBank for your help today after I had a very embarrassing, stupid moment this afternoon which resulted in me becoming a victim of fraud (someone called me pretending to be Lloyds). Man on the phone had my account sorted and money back into my account within half an hour and a new bank card in the post. 10/10 customer service thank you & I will never be so stupid ever again
