@AskNationwide If I start at the beginning of the issue. We live a distance apart and my husband (her Son) is trying to take the place on the account of her deceased husband. We filled out the forms given by her branch and took them to our branch and now we have received this letter.

@AskNationwide I have been logged in before but have since logged out and I'm now trying to get back in. I have the current account and everything I'm trying to log in with it's just saying technical problems.

@McDona1d @BarclaysUK @AskNationwide Yep, Nationwide use the same company as Barclays unfortunately. Ironically, when I left Barclays (due to this issue) I moved to Nationwide. I was disappointed to learn that they used the same company to fulfil the mobile phone insurance.

@AskNationwide Is there a different number as this is the same number I tried yesterday, this is really important and I feel we're going round in circles, Prehaps a technical support would help.

@AskNationwide "just need to click on... " Thank you Nationwide for creating MORE WORK for me to do on a Thursday morning. *I set up* text alerts. Myself. Me. Because I wanted them. Now I have to contact customer services to fix something that should be working.

@AskNationwide conflicting messages about your online mortgage switch service from each interaction. confirms my suspicions that you've pulled down the system as your customers are in the midst of a switch. just be honest so we can call time on a 20 year relationship

@AskNationwide Thanks but doesn't explain why the text said just high balance & mini statement alerts were being disabled, which I don't have a problem, & yet I had been opted out of the low balance ones too which were working. How many customers will this have affected & won't realise/check??

@AskNationwide as as existing FlexDirect account holder you offer me 2% fixed on £1,500 for one year. But you now offer 5% to newbies. That doesn’t seem fair, I think you should at least increase all customer rates to 5% until the one year term has ended

@AskNationwide Why am I expected to jump through hoops, when you're already aware of the problem. See above screenshots. 🤔
