@AskNationwide If I start at the beginning of the issue.We live a distance apart and my husband (her Son) is trying to take the place on the account of her deceased husband. We filled out the forms given by her branch and took them to our branch and now we have received this letter.

@AskNationwide Thank you for your reply, not confident yet however. Am avoiding online banking. Some advice for Nationwide - the online chat service, once you actually got a human (45 minute wait!) needs a serious review, very very poor customer service.

Do not ask @AskNationwide for home insurance, they have (via Crawfords it must be said) treated my parents like utter garbage, committed fraud, and refused to acknowledge legitimate damages despite professional assessment from a 3rd party. Disgusting way to treat people.

@AskNationwide I have in fact just ordered a new credit card as the old card was somehow cancelled. This maybe the problem. Do I need to set up the new credit card details up on the app?

@AskNationwide so the service status page says everything is working normally, but the app says that internal transfers still aren't possible. So can you please provide an actual update, as opposed to pointing us all towards a page that says everything's fine when it isn't?!

@AskNationwide No it hasn't. It's never usually late. Didn't go in until 12:30am one time but never this late. There's an issue somewhere.

@AskNationwide No he wasnt, but at the moment i dont have an account with you, but he does. That seems to of been the problem. But i cant understand why that makes a difference.

@AskNationwide Continually getting service outage messages in the app when I try to log in to my Nationwide account, but your website says all services are working as normal. What gives???
