Colin Evans (@colin12269) reported from Sutton Valence, EnglandHi @AskNationwide I have a question for you. How can you charge an existing customer a £999 fee to re-fix the term of their mortgage when @Barclays do it for £35 at a lower %age rate and Leeds don't charge a fee at all? Both with better rates than you. Why should we stay?

Aston Lord of Who 🦁 (@AstonoftheLord) reported@MichaelFra89678 @SkhTrains @AskNationwide Then maybe save some money like the rest of us and you will get a little bit of help. If you can’t save £100 by your age then you are not making good financial decisions.

John Rogers (@TerminallyChimp) reported@AskNationwide Why is your online banking so awful? I’ve been trying to amend a direct debit for days and it fails every time. I try to delete it and it fails. The absolute basics of managing my money are impossible. Sort it out please.
-
Shaun Toole (@garabaldired) reported@AskNationwide are there issues with being able to make payments right now. I've tried twice and it says "There has been a problem"

Fiona Cameron 🇪🇺💚🤍💜🐇🐈⬛🖋 (@fionacamwriter) reported@AskNationwide Despite all your TV advertising re customer service, it appears to be non-existent. Impossible to get past the AI bot to reach your ‘dedicated teams’. They are dedicated to being uncontactable, it seems. I’ll be looking for recommendations about banks which do actually care…

Noah's nan 🩷 (@Noahjames_nan) reported@AskNationwide Thank you, I put the phone down on them as I was sure it was a scam but wanted to be sure!
-
All Mark (@MarkAll19523693) reported@AskNationwide I make a regular payment every month to an existing payee. However today it is asking me to use a card reader. It never asks me to use a card reader for existing payee. I have never had a card reader. What is going on? Is this a temporary glitch?
-
Corin Messer (@CorinMesser) reported@AskNationwide Maybe it would help if I noted that none of our details have changed and our cover level hasn't changed and the Bank of England inflation calculator suggests our August 2025 premium of £626.30 should have increased to £638.75 not £987.00. Perhaps £987.00 was just a typo?

steve WBA (@WbaSteve) reported@AskNationwide tried the chat on the app is bloody awful

John Rogers (@TerminallyChimp) reported@AskNationwide I can’t amend any standing orders, hasn’t been working for days. Just errors, “something has gone wrong”. I can amend, change or add any standing orders. Pretty basic stuff, frustrating.
