Chelle (@ChelleChipato) reported@sadietrent_92 @AskNationwide Incorrect. He did open his bank accouny through the main branch, he had all the required documentation which was confirmed. Issue is why the first branch were gatekeeping when the other branch confirmed that what they had asked for was completely unnecessary

Shocking service from the ‘peoples’ bank. Never been over my over draft. Don’t live in my overdraft have 3k a month go in and you’re doing this. How can you even be allowed to do it. Time to move banks.

Also note that none of this is on their own website, this woman was just gate keeping and making stuff up 3/5

Then local HSBC doesn’t accept cash & pointed to a branch in Reading! 🙄 Nationwide actually invested in a branch here. Tell me why I should stay, FD? 🛑👇

I am glad that he didn’t just walk away and in fact when this was raised at the main branch they were shocked with the treatment he got!
