@SweetHoneyGem @AskNationwide I left Halifax for similar reasons and charges. The replies I've had are from people that can't do anything about it unfortunately but Nationwide service to customers stink to be honest. And the time it has taken to reply suggest that higher powers told it's people to ignore us

@AskNationwide Hi I have a fixed term mortgage coming to an end soon. How soon can I look to get a new deal with you without paying an early repayment charge? Or do I need to wait until the end of the fix?

@AskNationwide I really need a new bank. Every single month I have a problem with your system. It’s been 3 hours and it’s still not cleared

@MelBradley79 @AskNationwide I sent payments over 2 hours ago and they still haven’t cleared so it’s just not you. But it seems the default response is payments take “up to 2 hours” so guess we are stuck until Nationwide acknowledge there’s an issue…

@AskNationwide So have tried again today, apparently there is no one in Nationwide who can deal with an overall complaint or come up with a solution as to how we can access our overpayment. It is OUR money which we have overpaid, we need this money but Nationwide won’t let us have it back

@TTMoneyMentor @AskNationwide The low level and stagnant British wages makes it impossible for the average worker to afford buying a house. Unless you get a subsidy from the bank of Mum and Dad an inheritance or a lucrative Only Fans account. You can forget it.
