@SweetHoneyGem @AskNationwide I left Halifax for similar reasons and charges. The replies I've had are from people that can't do anything about it unfortunately but Nationwide service to customers stink to be honest. And the time it has taken to reply suggest that higher powers told it's people to ignore us

@AskNationwide I put in a complaint and was told someone would get back to me within 5 working days. Haven’t heard from anyone, looks like Nationwide aren’t really bothered that they’ve upset a customer

Just a warning for everyone @AskNationwide customer service agents try and say you can't record the conversations with them, by uk law any company that warns you of recorded calls you can also record the calls that is their consent. Constant lies. I implore you to use anyone else

@AskNationwide I've tried both - get the same issue every time still. Technical error or something like that. The card reader gives me a code, I input that and then I get a message saying it can't go through due to technical/service error.

@AskNationwide I've tried to send four codes to my mobile (number is correct) in the last 24 hours so I can use Internet Banking. (App is working but I prefer using a web browser on my desktop.) Nothing has arrived. Known problem, or just me?

@AskNationwide I have already been onto the chat function and added details to the original complaint. Really disappointed in the lack of customer focus.

@AskNationwide Hi Claire - yes the word Error appears on the screen when a card is inserted the correct way. We have tried with 3 different cards always with the same result. Thanks Alex

@AskNationwide I'm a nationwide customer. I do not hold any savings with you. I know your interest rates are bad.

@AskNationwide apparently nationwide have no understanding and concept of money laundering. If you wanna get away with extorting people, head to nationwide. Public service, you're welcome.
