@AskVirginMoney yes, I need this as I couldn’t locate this to make the payment last night. I want to make payment ASAP to avoid delays. Can you please advise how best to do this? Also, best number to call to discuss the direct debit issue caused by @AskNationwide payment delays.

@AskNationwide @andybrooks69 This is pointless and I'm absolutely raging, your customer service line is completely useless and unhelpful. They don't want to know, and if you do finally find our missing money that we are no further on from finding, you'll be losing us as customers.

@AskNationwide It’s not good enough your the only building society or bank who keeps having this issue with payments every week or every two weeks and you cant expect customers to stay when there not getting there money on time just way out of order

Hi @AskNationwide - can I ask when your issues are going to be resolved as a sum I transfer from another account has not arrived yet in my Nationwide account (sent yesterday) and is required to pay a direct debit? A direct debit today from the same account has arrived. Odd.

Guo Claire (@GuoClaire1) reported
@AskNationwide I had sent money to cover it absolutely shoddy. Definitely changing banks to ones that offer more perks and reliable service.

@AskNationwide If I get sent to this link again that doesn't help my situation, without speaking to someone to resolve this, I'm leaving the bank. Why is this so difficult. IVE BEEN DOWN THE LISY OF EVERYTHING TO HELP AND SOMEHOW NOW THE ONLY RESPONSE IM GETTING IS ON TWITTER. TRIED THE LINK.

@MCR0211 @AskNationwide Perhaps you might have said ‘during our issue we rejected some inbound payments, so we advise you check and if so (with our apologies) ask you payer to pay again’. That might have put some minds are rest. But you didn’t. You said it was my responsibility to check with payers bank

@AskNationwide Well I thought I would give you an update. I have spoken to customer service on the phone and they confirmed that I can switch without paying a penalty. So my switch is underway. Thankyou all for your help
