@william98024502 @AskNationwide No they don't have a problem. My error was entirely my fault for forgetting I'd frozen the card.

@AskNationwide Ok. My bad. Full marks to the very patient person on the phone however we didn't fix it. After the call I remembered I'd frozen that card a few weeks back. Unfreezing it fixed the problem. If it's possible to break things I will. Sorry!

@AskNationwide That contact page is awful. Unless you fit into one of Nationwide’s rigid categories it just takes you round in circles.

@AskNationwide please can you reinstate your secure messaging service. Webchat is painful. It’s time consuming and on most occasions has not resolved the issue. Secure messaging was time efficient and nearly always allowed me to sort things out without having to call.

@AskNationwide Will you change the automated message to 30 minutes now? Update on my mortgage application. I need to go back to work shortly didnt expect to be waiting 45 minutes especially as it said up to 3 minute wait time. Really poor customer information waiting 15 times the time advised

@AskNationwide I am aware of this, I took a 6 month one because I was furloughed then laid off, I am still jobless tried every possible route to get back in to work so I can support my family. Because I was facing a hard time I didn't meat the criteria for the loan term to be extended.

@AskNationwide I switched bank account and forgot I would instantly lose access to my nationwide account. Is there any way I can view the transactions from the last month?

@AskNationwide I have been on the line attempting to speak to a customer service agent & have been waiting in excess of 20 minutes already. The phone waiting time is crazy! What is going on? 🧐🫤

@AskNationwide It would help to share your policy with your valuers that EWS1 is only needed in low-rise buildings with significant safety concerns, as otherwise they routinely ask for them, giving you a loophole. They don't understand that EWS1 is remains unavailable in many low-rise blocks
