The Natwest technical problems today I think is the reason why we still need to keep branches open just in case of emergency such as the one in Washington Galleries, it's stupid that you closed that one as well as branches across the country @NatWest_Help

@davidpolymath NatWest have been plugging a rewards account which needs you to login to the app monthly to get some of the rewards..rather than "charging" branch/telephony users they are "rewarding" digital users. Sounds less controversial!

@leiper_danielle @AskNationwide I'm with NatWest (who don't have payment issues) didn't get payment. Rang DWP and they confirmed payment issue at their end. You may end up with a double payment (it may go in again on Tuesday).

@NatWestGroup @BusinessGreen Nice to see Alison Rose smiling while many thousand NatWest customers have had accounts frozen for no reason what so ever and told to wait for a call or letter. 10 days now and no communication as yet .. and customer services just read of a script and hang up, be ashamed NatWest

Heads -up people. If you want to open a community account with Natwest, you can only do so if you are already a customer & only online. Don't tick the box which says you are an existing customer though - it won't let you carry on with the application. Nice one IT dept............

@DerylLynn Yes! Just been dealing with one for an hour for the simplest issue. Previously NatWest refused to transfer £ to another bank account until I went into a branch, photo ID & spoke for 20 mins on phone to one of their "security" people. Why are you transferring this £?!!

@nickmangwana Natwest is closing branches is small towns /areas but not completely shut down, customers can still go to other branches & online banking is easy in the UK. Debenhams is closed physically but still shop online cause of easy Internet/WiFi access.

@sidskid80 I believe you mate. I was going down to Teesdale street off the Old Bethall Green road since the late 80s onwards. Was there when the flats shook when Natwest got bombed. Watched the debris fall from the sky like a tickertape parade.
