@davidpolymath NatWest have been plugging a rewards account which needs you to login to the app monthly to get some of the rewards..rather than "charging" branch/telephony users they are "rewarding" digital users. Sounds less controversial!

@BarclaysUKHelp It’s okay, a few other customers were having issues with Barclays so the put our trolleys aside whilst I nipped home for my NatWest account card.

@leiper_danielle @AskNationwide I'm with NatWest (who don't have payment issues) didn't get payment. Rang DWP and they confirmed payment issue at their end. You may end up with a double payment (it may go in again on Tuesday).

@thedimmick There was a company in the NatWest accelerator, they owned a beef farm down Black Mountain way so they had chosen to go for leather goods too. Can't find their name now though...no help

@Templesmith I think NatWest went down for a couple of days a few years back, but that mean the cash points didn't work either so money wasn't really a solution. I haven't seen a payment processor go down in at least a decade, if not longer.

Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, Nationwide, NatWest, Santander, TSB and Danske have agreed to share services to help people and businesses to continue to be able to access CASH. Another nail in the cashless society argument. Do people really think we say things without good reason?
