@leiper_danielle @AskNationwide I'm with NatWest (who don't have payment issues) didn't get payment. Rang DWP and they confirmed payment issue at their end. You may end up with a double payment (it may go in again on Tuesday).

Did you know NatWest offers one of the most competitive home insurance policies starting from around £4.25pcm for renters. This was what I was informed, when I went in to resolve a personal banking issue.

@BarclaysUKHelp It’s okay, a few other customers were having issues with Barclays so the put our trolleys aside whilst I nipped home for my NatWest account card.

@davidpolymath NatWest have been plugging a rewards account which needs you to login to the app monthly to get some of the rewards..rather than "charging" branch/telephony users they are "rewarding" digital users. Sounds less controversial!

The NatWest saga contd: so @NatWest_Help tried to help, asked me to retry the transaction, that failed and referred me back to the fraud team. Fifth call, the call drops. Sixth call, looked promising, the guy says 'hold on, let me bring up your case' ... zzzz ... zzz 1/

@Jayne__Bond That is awful dealing with NatWest during the pandemic was terrible and don't get me started on their reduced opening times it took 3 attempts to actually get inside a branch!!!

@Natwest your website does not work - i cant login with even the correct details i have always used and then it asks me for account number which i dont have statements, its not on the card or i cant login

@NatWest_Help Thanks. We’ve tried that and have been on the phone to them this morning. Still waiting for a call back from the person who made the decision as to why and what can NatWest do to resolve the issue.

So what’s to be done? Will I ever be able to make payments with my card again? Will there be someone at Natwest who can and will take responsibility and help sort this mess out? Since Natwest's telephone support score an F let's see if Twittwr's @NatWest_Help make a difference.

@NatWestBusiness Many thanks for your feedback. I have absolutely no faith in Natwest and have now raised official complaints regarding this issue and another issue that happened today with a payment confirmation.
