Have NatWest really been caught money laundering 💀💀💀 wtf
-
Howard Beckett (@BeckettUnite) reported
The Natwest (then RBS) received £45bl of taxpayers money in the 2008 bank bailout. Today they pleaded guilty to allowing the laundering of £400ml by one single customer. No person will be prosecuted, no one will bat an eye lid. It’s a rigged system we need to bust.

@NatWest_Help Fabulous, on the 3rd attempt of communicating with NatWest, I've managed to submit the form. @StarlingBank took under 10 seconds. @transferwise took next to no time too. There is so much NatWest could learn from them about 'customer service in 2021'

@NatWest_Help I went into NatWest last Thursday to close a savings account/move money elsewhere - they said it would take 3-5 working days. The account is still open and money hasn’t been moved. Is this likely to be a delay or do I need to go back in store?

NatWest “we deeply regret” that you laundered £250m through your bank from one customer. Pay a fine and move on. These bell ends need to be held more accountable! Prison time.

Jeff Paine (@JeffreyVictor64) reported
@BBCNews I was until recently a NatWest employee working in a non frontline role, never dealing with customers or cash. Even for my role the anti money laundering training was exhaustive, completed twice a year, on report if you failed it. Laughable!

@AhmedKhattabUK I don't think Jules is attacking the teachers, it is a criticism of the institution rather than the people. If I criticise NatWest bank, I'm not criticising the people working for them. Agree, it is important to hold these organisations to account.
