Blooming nightmare, no money in the middle of Tesco, had to run home and sort it out on their website, then run back and collect shopping. FML

My elderly housebound mum had the same problem this year. My sister tried to scan and pay it but it wouldn’t work on the NatWest app.

It’s certainly not just the shareholders that lose out, if Brown had let Natwest collapse they would have had to insure £2 trillion of customer deposits, something tells me that might have cost more than a bailout.

It you got arrested for running into NatWest and smashing up their display, charged for it, then got done for robbing the bank later with no jury or due process you'd kick off.
