  Has NatWest app crashed? I keep getting connection issues and can't get to speak to anyone on Customer Services. Blooming nightmare, no money in the middle of Tesco, had to run home and sort it out on their website, then run back and collect shopping. FML

The acquisition transforms NatWest Group's financial planning and investment management capabilities, and it is expected to generate pre-revenue synergies of 20%, increasing fee income and boosting exposure to the structurally higher growth UK wealth market.   Elon Musk, shall I tell you what else those NatWest employees—who scammed me out of 300 pounds—did? They kept blocking my contactless payments; and they send me a message asking me to reply "yes" if I try to make the payment or "no" if I didn't. I reply "yes," confirming I try to make the payment, and they send a follow-up message saying I could use my card—yet my card remained blocked. I called NatWest customer service and explained the situation to the representative: I replied "yes" to the message and was told I could use my card again, but I still couldn't use it because it was blocked. The representative was surprised, said they didn't know why this had happened, and reactivated my card. Elon Musk, they kept blocking my contactless payments—and let me put this in a way you'd understand: they didn't do it for security reasons. In fact, I hadn't made a single payment with that card yet; I tried to make a contactless payment somewhere but couldn't because they had blocked it. The shop assistant even told me, "They probably blocked it because you made too many contactless payments today"—even though I hadn't used the card anywhere before that.

  @donmcgowan Complete crap. Alison Rose, CEO of Coutts, dmitted to a "serious error of judgement" in discussing Farage's accounts publically. Rose resigned as CEO of NatWest Group with immediate effect after that.

  @Jenny_1884 I was thinking about the little things from back then that nobody remembers these days. People stopping you in the street to ask if you know what time it is. Those plastic guards that went up and down over the Natwest/Midland bank ATM. Silly things like that.. Yes take me back.
