Has NatWest app crashed? I keep getting connection issues and can't get to speak to anyone on Customer Services. Blooming nightmare, no money in the middle of Tesco, had to run home and sort it out on their website, then run back and collect shopping. FML

The Natwest (then RBS) received £45bl of taxpayers money in the 2008 bank bailout. Today they pleaded guilty to allowing the laundering of £400ml by one single customer. No person will be prosecuted, no one will bat an eye lid. It’s a rigged system we need to bust.

@Serpico741 @BBCNews Don't think you read this did you. NatWest problem was not reporting suspicious transactions. Bit like you thinking your neighbour might be growing ******** & not reporting it. How would you feel if you were one prosecuted?

@GreenPartyMolly This is the same NatWest that makes it almost impossible for disabled people to access their own accounts - blaming 'money laundering legislation' for demanding a housebound woman walks 7 miles to a branch for in-person verification?!

So Fowler Oldfield got shut down for money laundering Jame Stunt’s gold. (And a few other people’s). 365 million pounds through their bank account over 5 years. And now NatWest can no longer handle cash deposits at all. That’s one of the terms of their guilty plea. 4/5

@MarkVent In over 43 years of being a grown up with a bank account I've only been overdrawn once, for the princely sum of £5.40 for two days due to a slow clearing cheque (remember them?) back in 1983. So in two years time I will celebrate forty years of NOT banking with Natwest
