Looks like I’ll need to visit a NatWest branch, during a pandemic, to transfer my own money. What an unbelievably **** experience this has been from start to end.

Trying to transfer some money to my solicitor via NatWest’s online banking and mobile banking app has been a truly awful and frustrating experience. At this rate, it would be quicker to withdraw the cash and post it.

I should note this issue only affects Natwest and Santander nether site loads for me on Firefox/Chrome without me using a VPN (though wd could access Natwest via the android Mobile banking app) not that we bank elsewhere but I tested other banks which had no issues getting to

@fesshole Met a Bank trader customer from NatWest once for lunch. Chatting about the market that morning and said something like „got offered 10m at 20 and I took the guys arm off at that price“. Yes - Mr. NatWest only had one arm.

@knobalob @santanderukhelp I have no problems with Natwest. They do daily updates at 2:00am for 30 mins and then that’s it. Never had a problem.

@JohnleDentist @santanderukhelp Are you with Sky? Because yesterday they had issues loading some websites I specifically had issues loading both Santander and Natwest login pages (android app did work though) I was only able to access with a VPN via a browser.
