Trying to transfer some money to my solicitor via NatWest’s online banking and mobile banking app has been a truly awful and frustrating experience. At this rate, it would be quicker to withdraw the cash and post it.

@RoadsideMum Don't know which bank you are with, but when I was with natwest, if they thought there was a fraudulent transaction, they'd stop the transaction but not block the card, and text me "this transaction is suspect, was it you, text back yes or no"

@LGalloway77 Complete double standards. Govt is a significant shareholder in NatWest bank (c40%), the CEO of which has reportedly received £600000 bonus on top of a salary of £millions. We are not in this together and affordability is only a problem for remunerating junior public servants.

@NatWest_Help Wow! An existing customer, 85 year old with a hearing impairment wants to open additional account, has to have online banking or a smart phone in order to access app relay health, the customer doesn't have either, so told by Natwest sorry we can't help!

@Scott_Mansell1 For years Natwest made huge losses as it dealt with legacy issues from 2008. Got slaughtered for it. Now, they make a profit and can buy back shares from governmentm get slaughtered for it. 2023 forecast is a reduction - reduced demand for credit owing to high int rates.

@premnsikka It's a crazy world. The government says there's no money, there's plenty of money they just don't want to collect it. NatWest are "helping" their customers by shutting down branches.

@AFP I think you mean NatWest benefited from not passing on higher interest rates to savers, closing branches across UK & sacking staff! I have been a loyal NatWest customer for 50 years - you get zilch for loyalty!
