@davidpolymath NatWest have been plugging a rewards account which needs you to login to the app monthly to get some of the rewards..rather than "charging" branch/telephony users they are "rewarding" digital users. Sounds less controversial!

  • ema_neale emma (@ema_neale) reported from Sunderland, England

Did you know NatWest offers one of the most competitive home insurance policies starting from around £4.25pcm for renters. This was what I was informed, when I went in to resolve a personal banking issue.

  • clareknowles1 clareknowles (@clareknowles1) reported from Sunderland, England

@BarclaysUKHelp It’s okay, a few other customers were having issues with Barclays so the put our trolleys aside whilst I nipped home for my NatWest account card.

@leiper_danielle @AskNationwide I'm with NatWest (who don't have payment issues) didn't get payment. Rang DWP and they confirmed payment issue at their end. You may end up with a double payment (it may go in again on Tuesday).

@rugbygaga @RugbyPhilBB I do wonder whether Phillips stance was a philosophical one (WRU should own pro rugby in Wales) or whether there’s an issue with banking covenants. I’m thinking about that 2019 deal with NatWest for £40M in funding.

  • GooseMumma Mumma Goose 🇬🇧 (@GooseMumma) reported

Did you realise how bad it is using a digital signature? It WILL be used against us. Just been informed that #NatWest will no longer accept signatures that are not digital for Mortgage extension absolutely disgusted! Shameful you can’t get face 2 face service from @NatWestGroup

  • dan190671 Dan_J (@dan190671) reported

@MartinSLewis What about smaller mortgages? Say less than £50k? My 5 year fix is coming to an end in July. Unless I’m missing something I think I may be better off on a tracker and try to overpay rather than fixing at a higher rate? My old rate was 1.8% with NatWest. Thanks

  • horne1995 Ben 🇬🇧 (@horne1995) reported

When I was young I thought being an adult meant I'd have loads of money and could do what I want Instead some ******** called "Natwest" takes £600 off me every single month and I have to pay AIG £7 a month, just in case I die at some point in the next 25 years Wtf is this crap

  • CliveJGoodwin Clive J Goodwin (@CliveJGoodwin) reported from Bromley, England

@NatWest_Help Embarrassed at the lack of help you have shown in a cost of living crisis. Separating from my partner and selling the house. You offer us a new 2 year mortgage deal when my rate ran out? #natwest #jokebank Been with you over 25 years. #mse

  • MarkusWinston M_Winston (@MarkusWinston) reported

Arrogant NatWest chief executive Alison Rose has backed down in a spat with the House of Commons Treasury select committee and agreed to attend a hearing next week after initially saying she was “too busy”.. the bank is 48.1% owned by the public - damn right she needs to attend!

  • Alex_Hankin17 Alex Hankin (@Alex_Hankin17) reported

@MartinSLewis please help. My partner did a balance transfer from Natwest to Hsbc but Hsbc transferred x2 the amount leaving her in a lot more debt and they arent cooperating.

  • ninafay_MUA Nina Robinson (@ninafay_MUA) reported

@NatWest_Help hi there, online banking isn't letting me login without my card reader. I don't have my card reader and I need to download a bank statement urgently. Its saying I can contact natwest to udate my phone number (why?) or order a new card reader

  • GdVikki Kath & RGD Vikki (@GdVikki) reported

So Twitter please help me out! Looking for good Business Bank Accounts for self employed people likely to earn under £5,000 a year? NatWest mentioned the Mettle App but with that I’d have no branch/telephone support.
