Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Houghton-Le-Spring and nearby locations:

  • rl_chris_higham Chris Higham (@rl_chris_higham) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@davidpolymath NatWest have been plugging a rewards account which needs you to login to the app monthly to get some of the rewards..rather than "charging" branch/telephony users they are "rewarding" digital users. Sounds less controversial!

  • jshield1988 jamie shield (@jshield1988) reported from Wallsend, England

@leiper_danielle @AskNationwide I'm with NatWest (who don't have payment issues) didn't get payment. Rang DWP and they confirmed payment issue at their end. You may end up with a double payment (it may go in again on Tuesday).

  • clareknowles1 clareknowles (@clareknowles1) reported from Sunderland, England

@BarclaysUKHelp It’s okay, a few other customers were having issues with Barclays so the put our trolleys aside whilst I nipped home for my NatWest account card.

  • ema_neale emma (@ema_neale) reported from Sunderland, England

Did you know NatWest offers one of the most competitive home insurance policies starting from around £4.25pcm for renters. This was what I was informed, when I went in to resolve a personal banking issue.

@GoldTelegraph_ It's debatable as they still guarantee deposits. They also still own a fair chunk of NatWest after the GFC. Part of the issue is whether you can call them British banks anymore. Is HSBC British? My guess is that if they get into trouble they will dismantle and consume.

  • sreddy31 Sudhakar Isireddy (@sreddy31) reported

@NatWest_Help I have been having troubles with double charging on my current account, which was reversed a week later, today I have issues in direct debit to pay my credit card where only about 70% of the statement is debited. What's happening NatWest?

  • Forzabahab Forza Bahab (@Forzabahab) reported

@tottenham_tommy My worry is some banks might risk it. Natwest's are advertising 5% deposit mortgages again to drum up business. They can't help themselves.

  • ConorMcSpirit Conor James McSpirit (@ConorMcSpirit) reported

@MartinSLewis hi Martin are you able to help with loans. NatWest have given me one with a 30% Apr to someone who had a real life addiction. And this could seem in my bank statements I took out £2000 last June and so far only £80 has been paid due to interest. What can I do.

  • RoadMold MoldRoadCold (@RoadMold) reported

@WelshRugbyUnion I follow both Welsh Football and Rugby in person - well I would do, but the WRU doesn't like my new style Natwest card. Anyone else having problems?

  • MynameisRhys Rhys (@MynameisRhys) reported

@theothertruetom @NatWest_Help You need to send support a text in the natwest app

  • JamesJStory James Story (@JamesJStory) reported

I’m not surprised Help to Buy ISAs ended - nobody I try to speak to about mine knows how they work. Letting agents, mortgage advisor, conveyancer and now NatWest themselves have just thrown me onto other people every time I have a question. Just awful.

  • ToolkiT73 Frans Wilbrink (@ToolkiT73) reported

@NatWest_Help @graduations Hi NatWest.. another person keen to know when you will support this.. it would make a lot of peoples lives easier if you do.. and you may lose customers over this if your competitors do offer it..

  • TheLeafyOne Amanda Cheeky Chops (@TheLeafyOne) reported

@BenAdamsonDXB @NatWest_Help I've also just had my card declined twice for a payment to my local council, also plenty of money in the account, no issues I am aware of... so might be a Natwest issue? Made my payment with another bank's card.

  • jackarander1965 Dean Clarke (@jackarander1965) reported

@NetflixUK why is it seemingly impossible to send an email to say “sorry ur price is rising” NatWest app sent me an email to show increase. Perhaps people r leaving not just because of cost but poor customer service. Will be cancelling today
