Sounds less controversial!

NatWest can usually fix everything online without having to call them. People don’t have time to call companies & wait on hold for ages anymore!

It's a question of public service versus commercial service. Rails different as passengers can't switch provider in any meaningful sense.

Facetiously, you’d say of all the things Tony Stewart has got wrong in recent years, having a holiday in May is probably the one thing he’s got right!

It is designed to use multiple authentication methods but they've just stuck with partial date of birth id/partial passcode for the last 18 years or so! It could use the EMV card reader, but that'd just confuse customers.
