@cooda @NatWest_Help I think it’s HSBC with the problem from looking at the comments on HSBC as I’ve also made a payment from HSBC to a NatWest account

@NatWest_Help Thank you Cathy. But surely If I am verifying using the NatWest app and I have biometric approval activated within the app, that I shouldn’t be restricted in making a purchase. Can this be highlighted as the verification is there to make sure it’s the customer.

NatWest should try answering their phones in customer care

  • pete_lawless Pete Lawless (@pete_lawless) reported

@NatWest_Help please explain why you have removed the ability to contact you via messages or email from the NatWest app. The only way to contact you now is to phone. This is a serious loss of what was previously a good service.

@RBS_Help @NatWest_Help Gave up after a full hour & after seeing tweets with same issue but way longer wait times! Only found out of takeover from our bank Fraud Section following Direct Debit amend. Had been unable to change address on NatWest CTF online hence unaware of RBS take over or new reference

@NatWest_Help I have been with NatWest as a business customer 18 years. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company.

  • franzvonloewe Franz (@franzvonloewe) reported

@RodneyHobson Hmm. FTSE is down 2.6%. Barclays and NatWest both down about 5%. There must be something more to it than that?

@mrskmob1 @JamesDelingpole @LloydsBank Some banks charge "access fees" to them for cash now you mention it. Nearly got stung at a HSBC one for something like 3.60. only getting 20 quid out for the chippy. Went across the road to the NatWest and all was fine. Revolut have ruffled a few feathers in the banking sector.
