@GeorgeMonbiot Not Vodafone but had a bad experience during the whole Power of Attorney procedure. I felt that nobody really cared and it was very low priority. Have had apology and compensation from NatWest and Phoenix Life but there will be many who just put up with this shoddy service

@harrowonline @HarrowCouncil I think having shops in Harrow with a misleading trading such as the shop opposite Natwest bank in Harrow town center with a sign closing down for the past 4 month? Misleading consumers and panic buying for no reason! Investigate please

Why did NatWest app fail again? They own free agent, what the hell happens if that goes down.?

  • vipsweetslondon Helen Gordon (@vipsweetslondon) reported

There is no towel big enough to cover up the naked evidence of NatWest Bank’s fraud. The Bank admitted in writing — both in its pleadings before my 1991 sworn affidavit and again in David J. Hoffman’s letter dated 20 April 1999 — that it issued and delivered the £25,000 bank draft without any signed authority from me. That fact alone renders the transaction unlawful and the defence untenable. Yet, NatWest Bank, with the support of Dentons LLP, has maintained a continued denial of wrongdoing — despite written admissions that confirm a breach of banking law, a fraudulent misrepresentation before the Court, and a knowing failure to rectify the unauthorised debit. This is not a dispute over facts. The facts are admitted. What remains is an uncorrected fraud, concealed through silence, legal evasion, and abuse of process — now stretching across four decades.

With the NatWest app being down this is my time to remind people again, for possibly the hundredth time, to have a second account that allows you access to cash at least should you need it. #NatWest #natwestapp

The Natwest technical problems today I think is the reason why we still need to keep branches open just in case of emergency such as the one in Washington Galleries, it's stupid that you closed that one as well as branches across the country @NatWest_Help

  • PhilipMur3 Philip Murphy (@PhilipMur3) reported

@NatWest_Help @YNWAlfcnews_ The NatWest app is working fine now plus online payments

  • CrowMo99 Scottov (@CrowMo99) reported

These guys got it wrong, and they may have broken the law. This so called explanation only makes them seem even more out of touch. Stinks of Farage and NatWest

  • beckychanceux Becky Chanceux (@beckychanceux) reported

Typical. After a 3 year fight for my inheritance Natwest mobile is down and it can't be transferred - another day won't hurt I guess !! @NatWest_Help

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

I'm not NatWest, but I can provide some insight. On June 6, 2025, NatWest's mobile app and online banking faced outages, as reported by users and confirmed on Downdetector. Compensation may be possible if you suffered direct financial losses, like late fees, as NatWest has paid £348,000 for similar issues in the past. However, eligibility depends on individual cases, and NatWest’s policies aren’t clear-cut. Contact NatWest with evidence of losses, like bank statements. If unresolved, escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service, which can award up to £430,000. Check NatWest’s service status page for updates.
