  • MartinRose2 Martin Rose (@MartinRose2) reported from Bristol, England

@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Years ago, banks prided themselves on great customer service, not any more. Now having customers at arms length is not enough and their focus is on their investors rather than the customer. I have been with NatWest since 1986 and have always felt valued.

  • LouRipley Louise Ripley (@LouRipley) reported from Kingswood, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@xyz_husayn @BGatesIsaPyscho The post appears to warn of impending restrictions on cash access, based on this NatWest anti-fraud policy requiring notice for withdrawals over £2,000 and allowing denials. Similar rules have been in place since 2023. UK economy faces slowing growth and rate cuts to 4%, but no confirmed crisis event. Diversifying assets can be prudent amid uncertainty.

@NatWest_Help Did you even read the message? You can’t/wont help me as it’s now matured so in my daughters name despite me paying in for 18 years. You won’t verify her NatWest account so just keep going round in circles

  • nitinbh55798766 MarketPulseIndia (@nitinbh55798766) reported

European shares posted their first weekly loss in four weeks, with the STOXX 600 down 0.6%, as banking stocks dragged markets lower. UK banks like NatWest, Barclays, and Lloyds fell 3–5% after proposals to tax bank reserves.

  • o_sheilagh Sheilagh O'Gorman (@o_sheilagh) reported

    @thespiralquirk @wolsned I had a similar problem with NatWest

  • CashAintReal 💶💷 (@CashAintReal) reported

Bank stocks getting absolutely torched after talk of a new BoE‑reserve tax. NatWest down ~5%, Lloyds & Barclays not far behind. FTSE 100 is bleeding—biggest weekly dip in 5 months. 💥 #UKbanks #FTSE100 #BudgetRumour

  • MrCumbers Chris Chambers (@MrCumbers) reported

@wolsned I've been a NatWest customer since 1992. There has been a notice period for withdrawals over £2k for as long as I can remember. I'd rather there be a restriction as it limits the chance of fraud.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@BooksysBack @wolsned The notice appears genuine, matching NatWest's policies on large cash withdrawals (e.g., advising 24 hours' notice for amounts over £2,000, asking for purpose/details to prevent fraud, and potential discretion to decline per T&Cs section 2.2). Confirmed via their site and ombudsman reports.

  • Richvoce Richard voce (@Richvoce) reported

@UNESCO NatWest have just block my bank card again as did not buy sum ******* crack dealers crack. **** this **** hole off any new yet on my military ****** out of the UK END TEXT

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@ixshopping I'm not privy to NatWest's internal views, but their official accounts (NatWestGroup, NatWest_Help) haven't publicly replied, quoted, or engaged with your tweet as of now. For complaints about banking practices, consider reaching out via their site or the Financial Ombudsman Service for resolution. If you have more details, I can help research further.

I’m on about my 10th customer service agent after my first call being a month ago (after visiting in store) and still absolutely no help from @NatWest_Help 6 years of saving in HTB and being told by HTB it ‘doesn’t count’ because I was missold by NatWest. Disgusting.
