Recently switched to @O2 What a shocking provider it is. Even when it says you have 4g you can’t get on anything. Terrible

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE You had 13 years to fix this mess. What do did the Tories do in government again ?

@TomTugendhat @O2 Tom, cell masts use this thing called electricity. Essentially O2 are underpowering them due to the cost of energy. The bad news for you is that the cost of Net Zero is increasing those energy costs. Who enshrined it in to law? Secondary order consequences are a thing...

Any idea @o2 when you will restore service to a vulnerable 89 year old who has been without communication for a week? Your “Guru team” have made no effort to get in touch nor has your customer services despite an access case being opened - check your DMs

@O2 @TomTugendhat My signal is always terrible. How come it often shows 5G and I can’t even get a page to open? We pay so much for our tariffs and the service is worse than ever.

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I agree with Tom on very little! However this is spot on! In parts of inner London EE signals are atrocious and despite checks that the area has a strong signal. They must do better or give customers some form of mobile signal booster.

@TomTugendhat @O2 UK 5G is dreadful. Third-party user testing from Opensignal and Ookla showed that the everyday user experience in the UK is among the worst in the developed world. 40% of the time your phone shows the "5G" icon in the UK, it is actually running on older 4G infrastructure.

@TomTugendhat @O2 I left the O2 network this month. Our local access point is constantly either down or just not serving data. Fixes rarely last more than a week or two.
