Jenny Sibthorp (@jennysibthorp) reported from Frome, England@plusnethelp hi Plusnet, need your help urgently as my vulnerable parents (chemotherapy patient and deemed at high risk, needing to fully isolate) have significant issues with their WiFi. Since reporting issues this morning their WiFi has now stopped entirely and no phone line!!!

Make sure you cancel your direct debit with them after giving them your notice as they'll keep charging you due to a 'system glitch'

I almost fell for it over my issue with Plusnet , they get very aggressive when you don’t give them your bank details

Tony (@Tonysmini) reported@Nigelh7n @WeAreOpenreach It’s got to be done by Jan 2027. Plusnet don’t supply a VoIP/digital voice service hence the suggestion to swap to BT/EE if you want to retain a landline number.

Transferring sensitive data (email archive) without explicit permission is a huge violation of data protection act. I'm recommending you compensate your customers before legal action starts.

Sean Clarke (@SeanClarke17595) reported@Seanfrank Many thanks. I have WiFi calling with Plusnet ( the £44.did include a phone line ) so now also looking for VoIP provider. Problem there is I will need a UPS as no method of contact with 999 if power is down. Hoping Starlink supports WiFi calling?
