Flower Pot (@FlowerP79667758) reported@WeAreOpenreach day 8 of no internet. The pavement was dug up and our internet connection stopped. Calls to Plusnet who arranged Openreach to come out yesterday to find the fault. Openreach came yesterday and identified there was a break in the wire that was caused when the pavement was dug up. I was informed that Openreach would be out today to dig a smaller hole and fix the break. My husband spoke to Plusnet who said Openreach would update Plusnet on the 13th May. There is clearly a breakdown in communication between Plusnet and Openreach. My expectation is that Openreach will be out today, as promised, and restore our connection to the internet. We are unable to use our laptops or IPads. Even our door bell is out of action. We do everything online and this is just not acceptable. Particularly as the engineer yesterday informed me yesterday that he could not understand why we had been kept waiting for so long as they did not like leaving people off line for very long. This is not acceptable. To add insult to injury Openreach did not inform us the pavement was being dug up and therefore we did not move our car. Our drive was blocked from 9 am to 4 pm.

Jay (@Jason87r) reportedDear idiots @Plusnet and also @EE as u both have done it this month, if my payment date is set to 6th of month trying to take payment on the 3rd and then restricting services for your **** up won't magically make my money come in 3 days early, both account show 6th so do it!

Rob Shelley (@ITVRobShelley) reported@Plusnet hello! Last week I phoned to say I wanted to stay with your service - now I have a load of texts from you telling me my installation and router are set to happen/arrive - but I’m already installed and have a router…this is surreal

Richard Holliday | Author 🇬🇧 (@rjph_author) reported@Plusnet Thanks! I've switched email addresses but the verification email still never appeared. I now can't log into my Community account (I'd used same username/pw as my Plusnet customer account for ease) and the password reset email isn't appearing. Most confused!

SteveHooker (also bluesky) 🇪🇺🔶 #FBPE 💙 #FBPA (@Steve_Hooker) reported@Plusnet please can someone help. Following a no show for an installation on Tuesday. Today’s engineer M group in behalf of OpenReach couldn’t get the 900MB full fibre running. Said that another engineer would come. No update yet and Plusnet help on phone could not give any help

COYS CORNER PODCAST (@TOTTENHAM6191) reported@Plusnet This has happened for far too long and always below promised speeds. I'd like too visit whether I can exit my contract as the service has been appalling

MachLoopWales (@MachLoopWales) reported@Nolberto099 @ArmchairAdml Not missing the point at all. Well done. It's a common business model to increase charges after the 'new customer' period. There's no loyalty either way, just leave and get the same service from Plusnet/EE (same company as BT) for far less. Takes minutes.
