Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. 😠😠😠

  • GarethPc1237 Gareth Jones (@GarethPc1237) reported from Well, England

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts 😠😠😠

Hi @plusnet been having some issues with modem cutting out a lot recently, no help on the troubleshooting! End up having to restart it multiple times a day.. Help!

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@StormingNormal @Plusnet I don't use a landline. Not a outage as such either as it drops, re-connects for a minute then repeats that over and over for hours.

  • turnedtofire turned to fire (@turnedtofire) reported

PlusNet in public: "We're making calls to Syria and Turkiye free in light of the situation/people's need to contact family." Me: "Aww, what a nice, humanitarian decision." PlusNet in customer emails: "We're jacking your prices up by £3.46 a month (i.e. another £41.52 a year)."

  • writer_paula Paula Hammond (@writer_paula) reported

Finally have one bar on my mobile after a week of no service @Plusnet No warning it was happening. No updates. No easy way to complain. No way to do business or contact people in emergencies. But I notice @Plusnet has no problem billing me for the full service today. Shocking.

  • Kevburt1 Kev Burt (@Kevburt1) reported

Thanks @Plusnet ! Proving you are no better than BT! 14.4% increase for a new customer of 3 months! Early exit fee it is then. #horseshit

  • nptweetings Dan Ludlow (@nptweetings) reported

@pipmadeley Did Openreach pay you a visit in the end, or do you think the issue was in Plusnet's own kit?

  • scott161 ⚒ Sir IronLion ⚒ (@scott161) reported

@pipmadeley @Plusnet BT came round twice to the house and pointed the finger at internal wiring. Finally traced it to a line fault at the box down the road. I’m sure they would have tried to blame that on me too.

  • pipmadeley Pip (@pipmadeley) reported

@Plusnet Thank you. The actual physical connection goes down, so the underlying protocols that control the DSL signals goes down. Personally I think it's losing connection to your management systems, which are dropping the connection.

  • JoannaKaze Joanna Kaze (@JoannaKaze) reported

@Plusnet It’s fine now but can I ask where I can check outages in my postcode, for the future? I genuinely couldn’t find anything where I can search by postcode and that seems such bad practice to not offer it

  • Ianf60Fisher Ian Fisher (@Ianf60Fisher) reported

@Plusnet why can't I email plusnet via email about a broadband issue. It seems that plusnet is blocking me accessing a domain that I own.
