with the YouView box now refusing to do anything, again, I have reinstated the bypass and tuned the TV directly seeing as the distribution amp in the building is operating normally again, a call to Plusnet is in order to see if they can get me a new box or if not cancel the tv

@sugarcubehouse @Plusnet Thanks already contacted by phone and currently waiting for a manager to call me back. Within 5 working days. Customer service very poor so far. So much for the adverts 😠😠😠

Any one else have problems with @plusnet? I used them, in the guise of John Lewis Broadband. Cancelled in June due to very slow Internet speed but they have continued to take payment despite the account being closed and phone calls trying to sort it out. 😠😠😠

@Plusnet excellent service from plusnet. Internet kept dropping out came out did line check. No internal fault. Arranged for BT engineer today they found broke external wire. Now replaced and all sorted.

@Plusnet Thanks for your response. The issue appeared to have happened approximately 12.30am updating at 8am is not really good enough and communication needs improving. With many people now working from home you're infrastructure is more critical than ever and timely updates also.

@Plusnet I *think* it’s working - it did still try to boot me into the admin login screen when I tried to connect a device, but I think it’s OK now…
