@thatcedric Giving Plusnet the benefit of the doubt and a month to solve it. Of course the problem could well be affecting everyone else in the area across different ISPs but we're probably the only ones usually awake at that time. Definitely needs investigating though.

@Plusnet Then reinstate my Direct Debit. The only issue I had was the start date of the contract which was wrong, but I can live with that

@pipmadeley @Plusnet Checked mine in case there is an obvious global problem with Plusnet, mine’s been connected since Feb 4, when I unplugged and re plugged everything for reasons unrelated to t’internet. Whatever it is: it’s not a global problem

@Plusnet Sort the prices out lads. How's it fair for WiFi to increase by £6 then a few month later increase by the same amount? Meanwhile new customers get it for £22. You never mention prices rise until a couple of days before and try make me pay £100+ to cancel my WiFi. Jeezy peeps man

@HelenAshby72 Ours with Plusnet was easy. It even suggested making a cup of tea whilst waiting for it to find its signal. My kind of manual. Good luck.

@pipmadeley @Plusnet If it is an exchange problem, only a non-openreach supplier would make a difference. So cable or 5G basically

@xrachelizabethh @Plusnet I completely agree if your in a contract for 18 months then so should the supplier. I have exact same issue and i have mentioned it to ofcom as it’s an industry practice that needs stopping or at least telling you the correct prices when you sign up

The Curse of Cedric
(@thatcedric) reported
@pipmadeley I've had 2 providers fail to repair broadband. (neither of them Plusnet though) I left both of them (one mid contract, they didn't pursue it). My BT broadband has yet to fail in 8 years. I have unbreakable, the connection has dropped but the 4G backup kicks in.
