Anyone else experiencing terrible customer service from Plusnet? I was under the impression that they were one of the better broadband companies but obviously I was wrong having left my 84 year old mother with no connection for almost a week. @Plusnet

I just signed up for Starlink - finally gave in, the EE 4G has been broken for 3/4 days - now basically running on candle power - back onto the fallback BT copper broadband @ Plusnet - 3MB connection and costing me ยฃ28 a month on a 1 year contract - a lot more for the standard line rental and broadband if I do not take the 1 year contract. So now as I am in Caithness 3 miles away from a telephone exchange I need to pay EE for semi-decent 4G broadband when it works, and BT through Plusnet to have a working telephone for emergencies if 4G fails - as it does. And yet I still have the emails from the Scottish Government from over 8 years ago saying everyone would be on fast fibre connection by 2020 or around that time. I checked with Openreach and they have no intention of laying fibre to the property even though they can get access to a Government grant of over ยฃ4,400 to do so. A company, Highland Broadband is busy taking these rural fibre broadband grants and doing their best to get the north of Scotland rural and small towns connected - I am signed up for a 1GB fibre connection - supposed to be getting installed this summer - I just cant wait that long so - yet another expense for a poor pensioner (me) having to pay out for yet another broadband connection with Starlink. As I am in contract to Plusnet (BT), EE I can see if Highland Broadband do deliver the fibre by July - I will have 4 contracted broadband accounts until the contracts run out. If Only the Scottish Government had kept to their promises I would only need to have one connection.

@Plusnet Iโ€™m due for renewal with you next month and have been with you for years now but getting sick of new customer getting gift cards and thereโ€™s better deals with other suppliers that are significantly cheaper. Why should u stay with you?

@Plusnet making it way too difficult to cancel broadband. No option to do it online so forced to call with mad wait times to get through. Even tried their 'Additional support form' online and it just took my back to my account. Great support for vulnerable customers that ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Forced to change from @Plusnet to @EE last week. Phone did not work for 4 days. Now emails not working, can't send emails out. Do you seriously expect us to be paying for your non-existent service??

@WeAreOpenreach I cant get a straight answer! Your communication to my ISP is terrible, you text me to say your coming for an appointment to install FTP but plusnet know nothing about it. 5 months since my order was placed, and this will be my 3rd day taken off of work unpaid.

@Plusnet so I cancel my contract with you 6-8 weeks ago and you now take a new payment from my account today. Then Iโ€™m told itโ€™s ok you can have it back in 30 daysโ€ฆ wtf?

@CommsOmbudsman 3 BT Group companies (Plusnet, EE, Openreach) pass the buckโ€”no one takes responsibility. Simple Google Maps check could have prevented the whole mess. Customer paying ยฃ63/mo out-of-contract for unreliable service, distress & risk to health (needs line for health).
