@G4ELI @GD3YEO @virginmedia Sounds better! Good service from PlusNet? BT don’t have a good reputation.

@Plusnet hi there. I'm here to report my broadband in west Edinburgh cut out completely about 10 mins ago with the red broadband light flashing. A similar thing happened a few nights ago in the evening which was resolved when turned router hub off/on. Didn't resolve this time tho

  • fionamilligan
Fiona Milligan (@fionamilligan) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Day 3 and STILL no broadband @plusnethelp @Plusnet I certainly hope you’ll be refunding me... but the fact that you give a recorded message and then hang up doesn’t fill me with hope #EdinburghEH6

@Plusnet my broadband has just come back on after about twenty minutes but clearly there are underlying issues that your technical departments need to address.

  • balnastraid
Lauder Miller (@balnastraid) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Bricrabtree History shows that they never did .... when we hear John MacDonald say “ nobody will loose their Job in the sector and he talks about amalgamating the workforce’s of Openreach, Virgin, PlusNet etc you know your going to finish up with £1bn + wage bill and no income stream.

  • AlexLamond1
Alex (@AlexLamond1) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Actually, this seems to be an #Openreach outage. #Sky #PlusNet, #Vodafone and #BT all affected

  • M_sideSchoolMus
Morningside School of Music (@M_sideSchoolMus) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Plusnet business broadband down AGAIN in EH10. Please contact us regarding releasing us from our contract. @plusnethelp #plusnet

  • coffey_richard
Richard Coffey (@coffey_richard) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Plusnet my broadband just came back on at 1.15am so that's a downtime of about 1hr or so. Still can't raise a line fault on your website as undergoing maintenance. Strange how broadband suddenly stops and then restarts in this manner. 😐 Never had issues ever until this month.

  • craighk93
Craig (@craighk93) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Plusnet @plusnethelp WiFi still not working in Edinburgh. Your helpline wasn’t available. Would appreciate assistance...

  • Normantweets
Jamie Norman (@Normantweets) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

The good thing about today's 7-hour-and-counting @SkyHelpTeam outage is that it's the final nail in a wearying road, giving me the push to swap contract to @Plusnet, who appear to be offering better speeds at almost half the price...

  • MonkeyLuvver
John McCormick (@MonkeyLuvver) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@CraigDobbin1990 @Plusnet That's ridiculous!. I'll give them a chance to sort it but if they can't provide me a service I'm paying for then I'll need to look elsewhere. I appreciate the headsup mate and I hope they'll sort you out as well as compensate you. Not good news at all.

  • ollie_djw
Ollie ✨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@ollie_djw) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Plusnet hi there, I can’t seem to send any texts from my iPhone on my Plusnet simcard. Could you help me please?

  • coffey_richard
Richard Coffey (@coffey_richard) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@Plusnet your current national service status says Green on all services, which is clearly a load of rubbish judging by all the outages reported across the UK in the past week or so...

  • craighk93
Craig (@craighk93) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk @AIridag with plusnet and I am the same, not working

  • andrewducker
Andrew Ducker (@andrewducker) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@sarahdal Zen and Plusnet both have good reputations for customer service. Message me your postcode and address and I'll see what I can find.

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ITVRobShelley
    Rob Shelley (@ITVRobShelley) reported

@Plusnet Hello! Because of your former great service, I called to stay with yourselves not switch to EE. Whilst Tamsin and David who took my call were lovely - and v good at their jobs - sadly the whole call, incl hold time, took just under half an hour - that's bang out of order

  • Nicky_Robson
    Nicky Robson (@Nicky_Robson) reported

@Plusnet I'm dealing with my father's estate & customer services won't help me - how do you deal with a bereavement query when the deceased username is not known?

  • robsterowski
    Rob Sterowski (@robsterowski) reported

@plusnet Broadband now down for 18 hours. Web pages return "Sorry about this. Looks like something's stopped working." What's going on?

  • jmgrahit26
    James Marshall (@jmgrahit26) reported

@robsterowski @Plusnet BT/EE/Plusnet broadband went down about/before midnight on Monday/Tuesday. Have you rebooted everything?

  • RobinWi56161978
    Abu al-Hinnā Yakub (@RobinWi56161978) reported

@TackJompson @JamieGBarry I just cancelled. **** dancing with these pricks. Nearly same speed with Plusnet and their call centre is in the UK. Cheaper as well. Never going back to Virgin. They’re so bad I’m moving my O2 contracts when they expire as well.

  • MarkHowitt
    GM Mark Howitt (@MarkHowitt) reported

@Plusnet Having to call again- might be quicker to cancel my dd with you or go to @Ofcom

  • PaulSutton66
    Paul Sutton (@PaulSutton66) reported

@davidkurten In which case, the problem is my internet provider, Plusnet.

  • amandajp17
    Amanda Phillipson (@amandajp17) reported

It’s driving me insane at the moment trying to sort out my parents phone and internet - at a distance because they live 200 miles away. @Plusnet your customer service to two 81 year olds who don’t understand the tech is appalling.

  • lukedashweston
    Luke Weston (@lukedashweston) reported

@Plusnet currently into hour 7 of my internet being down. When texting your help number it just keeps giving me an ETA of when it should be fixed which gets pushed further and further back.

  • MachLoopWales
    MachLoopWales (@MachLoopWales) reported

@Nolberto099 @ArmchairAdml Not missing the point at all. Well done. It's a common business model to increase charges after the 'new customer' period. There's no loyalty either way, just leave and get the same service from Plusnet/EE (same company as BT) for far less. Takes minutes.
