Service sector fails in the #UK. Today, I upgraded my #broadband and they are coming to install on 16th December from @Plusnet . It’s more than a month!! It shouldn’t be so difficult to employ more people but they prefer cutting the costs and don’t care about the service

@MushroomWonders I've not suggested it was anyone's fault. I've advised how you can get a speedy resolution if your parents are vulnerable. The provider has a welfare process to help vulnerable customers. If the services are with PlusNet, you would contact them. 1/2

Now onto day 8 of a fault with @Plusnet. Customer service has been atrocious as all they do is provide empty promises and excuses. And now I'm supposed to wait around for another two days before they can even be bothered to take another look at it.

…and have now frozen my 76 year old mother's account for 24 hours and are completely unable to resolve it 'because it is the weekend'. Utterly unacceptable service and I'll be cancelling both my mother's and my PlusNet phone and broadband accounts.

Left @Plusnet to join @VodafoneUK and what a terrible that decisions proven to be. 6 months being billed by 2 providers, never had service from Vodafone and now 8 days in without internet. Promised a seamless transfer through broadband switching service. @Ofcom
