@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

@ConstableChaos Even Sky aren't perfect, I went with them 4 months ago after ditching Plusnet (thanks to their annoyingly **** customer service drones), requested to keep the existing landline number, and they gave me a new one, which I recently had to change again.

@SmilingClare Hi Clare. I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you and that your dad was without service. It can take up to midnight on the switching day for the port to complete. Is his service now working or is he still having problems? Regards, Emily Plusnet Leeds

@ProbablyADick @Crundwell @Plusnet It's an irritation rather than an active problem for me, but it's an increasing irritant

well, huge kudos to @Plusnet who picked this tweet up, ran some tests, discovered a wiring issue, called me and have booked an engineer's visit. I'm impressed! (Just one thing, Plusnet: please don't ask customers to give you their password over the phone.)

.@Plusnet No response? Typical of such a poor company with inept customer service.

@katebevan @Plusnet I’ve had an amazing time with @zeninternet! Reliable + fast, paid extra for a better SLA, and support are properly technical

@katebevan @Crundwell @Plusnet Interesting that other people have this w/ Plusnet too. We're pretty rural so thought that might be it. Sporadic and typically at the worst possible time.

@plusnet this is the second router you have sent me and it seems to have developed exactly the same fault as the first. Regularly dropping service and requiring a restart. What is the fix?
