@rbowen @nearyd I noticed that back in 1995 when I was working for an ISP called Plusnet. The network was so slow with a Microsoft product running on it that we found it hard to do anything. Looks as if it's still the same in the present day.

Plusnet DNS not working.Oh well,not a problem,I'll just change the DNS on their DHCP server.Except you can't...it's all very rounded and pretty, but so restricted that you an't make even such basic changes. So wait for them to fix it, or manually set every device in the house....

@Plusnet your broadband and home phone service is diabolical. Not been working properly since Jan, you fob me off despite hours on the phone, a non working phone line is due to an electrical fault on my home? Plus broadband does not work, I want to leave the contract penalty free
