@Plusnet No we are using a third party one as yours got fried in a storm a few years ago. But the router was absolutely fine before it stopped working on the line and you had to fix. I don’t think it’s the router that’s the problem.

@Plusnet I know you’re having issues with e-mail. I am starting to receive mail now but I can’t send and I have a very urgent e-mail to send. Can you please advise current position.

@Plusnet @HomesPJ Your fix is actually going backwards. Could log in early this morning and send mail. Haven’t been able to do either since 10am. Why is your fix making things worse? Just answer the questions your customers are asking. STOP WITH THE GENERIC RESPONSES 🤬 #plusnet #plusnetdown

@Plusnet My emails seem to have arrived, not sure if all from yesterday have, but I am now getting problems with sending emails. Error Code 0x800CCC1A. Server does not support encrypton type you have specified - contact your ISP. I haven't changed anything all set as SSL/TLS

@Plusnet @barongilbert11 Was able to download a few this morning n an iPad, now nothing since 09:44 on any of the three devices set up for Plus emails. Also no emails from yesterday. Has you fault reappeared or is something else causing this outage / service issue?

@wrathofgod @Plusnet I'm still waiting for test emails I sent to my plusnet address last night and this morning... and, as I said, can't send any. They just issue a scripted reply to any queries. Maybe there are wider issues that they're not reporting on.

@AlanJSlater @wrathofgod @Plusnet According to DownDetector, they’re having a widespread email outage.

@Plusnet I am now getting an 'encryption' error message when trying to send email. Is this part of your problem and if so when will it be fixed?

@gnarlybole @wrathofgod @Plusnet Thanks Mister G. It would help if they could be more open about what's happening rather than issuing a scripted reply which doesn't say anything helpful.

@Plusnet I want to cancel my contract - I just want to know if I have to give notice or if there will be any penalty to leave for another provider

@wrathofgod @Plusnet I think if you check tweets and replies on their twitter, there are links to service status... at least there were earlier.
