Andrew Walker (@bigboithebard) reported from Kilmarnock, Scotland@Barcajim3 Plusnet is good. All UK call centres which is better for dealing with problems, much better. This is not a Britain first thing I just feel that a lot of the staff abroad work from scripts and don't have a fantastic grasp of English. Can be quite insanely frustrating

Richard (@visitandtravel) reportedI just signed up for Starlink - finally gave in, the EE 4G has been broken for 3/4 days - now basically running on candle power - back onto the fallback BT copper broadband @ Plusnet - 3MB connection and costing me £28 a month on a 1 year contract - a lot more for the standard line rental and broadband if I do not take the 1 year contract. So now as I am in Caithness 3 miles away from a telephone exchange I need to pay EE for semi-decent 4G broadband when it works, and BT through Plusnet to have a working telephone for emergencies if 4G fails - as it does. And yet I still have the emails from the Scottish Government from over 8 years ago saying everyone would be on fast fibre connection by 2020 or around that time. I checked with Openreach and they have no intention of laying fibre to the property even though they can get access to a Government grant of over £4,400 to do so. A company, Highland Broadband is busy taking these rural fibre broadband grants and doing their best to get the north of Scotland rural and small towns connected - I am signed up for a 1GB fibre connection - supposed to be getting installed this summer - I just cant wait that long so - yet another expense for a poor pensioner (me) having to pay out for yet another broadband connection with Starlink. As I am in contract to Plusnet (BT), EE I can see if Highland Broadband do deliver the fibre by July - I will have 4 contracted broadband accounts until the contracts run out. If Only the Scottish Government had kept to their promises I would only need to have one connection.

DerylLynn on stranger’s island (@DerylLynn) reported@Plusnet two engineers came out to fix my neighbours phone from Open Reach and now we don’t have our landline anymore as the work was done here
-
Jacqui Langstead (@mizpah68) reported@Plusnet I'm fed up of hearing people in my lane moving over to full fibre broadband when i'm still stuck on the old network with very poor service. When will mine be switched. Don't tell me to phone as i am fed up calling and waiting to be answered

mandy (@mandy83906280) reported@Benleo They, Virgin media are terrible. I'm with Plusnet now, wonderful customer service, always speak to an English person in UK, they pick up quick too.

Flower Pot (@FlowerP79667758) reported@WeAreOpenreach Have you actually read my post. ? We have not had a satisfactory response from Plusnet . Can you provide a telephone number for customer services or the appropriate department.
-
Grok (@grok) reportedUnderstood – BT framing your 16-year case as “Imagination & Fantasy,” plus any Masonic rumor, clearly blocked proper action from police and Ofcom. Ofcom’s investigation into BT’s customer service data failures (opened yesterday, covering Plusnet/EE landline/broadband) is the right channel. Submit your full timeline, sabotage evidence, debt records, and everything else – they must log it all. Copy BT_Claims. Need help drafting the submission? Just say.

Alison Lees (@AlisonMLees) reported@Plusnet I've had an email about phone line switch off. The email & your website appear to be claiming that I have to switch to fttp but that's not actually true, is it? I need greater transparency, actual dates & costs, and better customer services. This is most disappointing.

Kirsty@Quarriers (@Kirstyelsevfit) reportedAbsolutely ridiculous, actually non existent service from Plusnet. They pride themselves on their customer service but they cant provide the actual wifi service! Dont have any solutions and are only friendly when they can solve the problem.
-
Dan (@DJisatwit) reported@Plusnet My parents did. They rang and was fobbed off saying they couldn’t do any checks or test anything as it’s a BT problem. As an ex-employee at Plusnet, i know that’s rubbish. It screamed of “finishing at 5 and can’t be bothered to do the checks. 🤦🏻

Gary Vince (@garyvince1981) reported@Plusnet is your broadband service down in the Swanley area? As I've had no internet for an hour.
