Jules Field (@JulesFM) reported from Southampton, England
@PostOffice After Amzn repeatedly sending stock responses teaching me how to use pickup locations, I finally got their "the customer is well pissed off" stock response, which asked me to call them. I've explained in words of 1 syllable & they are going to look into it. Will let you know!

Pip Richardson (@PipRichardson) reported from Southampton, England
@PostOffice seriously can’t believe you are not allowed to lend pens out to customers because of #COVID__19 . #gooddeedforday just lent another customer my pen! She was so grateful ... #littiethings that matter !

Jules Field (@JulesFM) reported from Southampton, England
@PostOffice They still show as an option, but when you select that particular one it then fails to appear as where you want it delivered to. Not just me, happens to others too. Other POs seem fine (e.g. Portswood down the road).

Lord Monkey Tarka Daal of Egg and Spoon ☕ (@cliff602) reported
@ClaireEWebb @PostOffice Worth noting the Post Office charges business customers for change so freely giving out change will create problems
-
The Don (@TheDonOfSorare) reported
@siany_d @PostOffice @ClaireEWebb Well we do not know the % they won't spend so that's conjecture either way. Could be 1%, could be 20%. But we agree it increases footfall so that's good. They say they support its use but don't back it up with anything other than a petition. Someone else's problem I guess.

@KelticDelta @PostOffice So basically you have no idea, so your argument is fallacious. You're picking a rather stupid hill here mate.
-
Stop Whinging (@UK_StopWhinging) reported
@byronvanstien @WeegieGeologist @PostOffice Wrong. Public services are state-owned. It’s like saying Tesco is a public service. It isn’t.
-
Stefan (he / him) (@DigitalStefan) reported
@NWitchtea @zasch17 @PostOffice Nope. That’s what I think is called a straw man argument. I haven’t broken or lost a phone in 20+ years. It’s unlikely to be stolen. It is extremely unlikely to be cloned in such a way as to bypass all my 2FA.
-
Maggie Smith (@angrymum63) reported
@KelticDelta @bluedaysomeday @PostOffice Exactly everyone is different, some people can only get money at night because they have anxiety or have other issues.
-
Cup O'Tea (@CupOTeaYo) reported
@fneepette @PostOffice It's not an advert for a service. Please read more carefully.
-
Siân Davis (@siany_d) reported
@TheDonOfSorare @PostOffice @ClaireEWebb The problem for post office branches is staying afloat not providing free services. There are plenty of services that generate income that revolve around cash

Georgia (@williagea18) reported
@PostOffice Hmmm….a landscape business wanting cash to stay around, I wonder why? Me thinks Matt is a fan of tax evasion. Never had a problem buying gardening stuff with a card, has Matt tried?
