As it was raining heavily and water logging in most of the suburbs the #indiapostoffice staffs were stuck and running late I and few other customer were made to stand for more than an hour as the #postoffice opens at 8am, later at around 9.15 am the staff begin the work...

I’ve started to deliberately use cash where I can to help protect older folk and to teach children the value of real money (which cannot be done by tapping a card). Sadly many businesses have used Covid as an excuse for becoming cashless. Thanks for the post!

@PostOffice Yes they phoned a help line who told them that they could accept them as they are Sterling. PO workers should have a basic understanding of the currency of the UK. There are notes other that The Bank of England, really basic stuff if you are acting as bank and currency exchange.
