Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Inverkeithing and nearby locations:

  • lauranels Laura Nelson (@lauranels) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @PostOffice Thanks Ryan, I phoned the customer services number, great effort from the tech support person to help sort it out (think his name was Fraser). My broadband is still very patchy and dropping out sometimes, but hopefully will improve soon.

  • SenoraEco Robin Cathcart (@SenoraEco) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @PostOffice @scanx4 I too have had a horrible experience at the Davidsons Mains PO that has made me feel unable to use this branch. After buying/using a mailing bag whilst in a busy Christmas queue this year. I finally got to the till and said the package was headed I internationally.

  • SenoraEco Robin Cathcart (@SenoraEco) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @PostOffice @scanx4 Before I could say 'oh and I need to pay for the envelope too,' the guy at the front till started accusing me of stealing the bag and made a great show of publicly admonishing me! It was HORRIBLE and a shame that I now feel unable to go into my local post office.

  • shellbryson Shell Bryson (@shellbryson) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @Raphaelite_Girl @PostOffice @edinhelp I would not have a problem with that, surprisingly enough 😃

  • Jusmasel2015 Tim McCormack (@Jusmasel2015) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @dolphinpcb @PostOffice Peter. Their remains so much inference from the name of the log file they still use. The Known Errors Log which logically implies there are errors they don't know about yet. These unknown errors are now the default reason for losses until POL can prove otherwise.

  • cass4edinburgh CM (@cass4edinburgh) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @RoyalMailHelp @PostOffice It’s your website I booked the redelivery on! That’s a key issue here. And I have, believe me.

  • gm_glendamac59 GM🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@gm_glendamac59) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @PostOffice do post offices not have to be open as essential service? Local one to close from 1-9 January ‘22!

  • lynnpolkey Lynn (@lynnpolkey) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @PostOffice Waverley Mall PO - counter staff lovely. Member of staff dealing with ‘self-service’ tills, curt and unhelpful - perhaps a different position in the branch would be better for them?

Post Office Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • tonyd21a Tony D (@tonyd21a) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail A better resolution would be to campaign to reinstate the link between the PO and RM. The two should never of been separated. To see an example of what it would of looked like. Compare La Poste in France. Every town and village has a post office that's integral to the community.

  • lea1973nne Leanne (@lea1973nne) reported

    @tootyparsok @PostOffice @RoyalMail This! Should NEVER have been split in the first place.....

  • gibson_gibson3 stephanie gibson (@gibson_gibson3) reported

    @Blacktowergirl @PostOffice @RoyalMail Yes but the post office needs to know what's inside to provide the correct service for the value of the item. I work for Royal Mail and you would not believe what customers actual post and is prohibited.

  • TheFanatikz TheFanatikz (@TheFanatikz) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Maybe training your staff correctly and allowing extra staff when it's busy would be a good start. The amount of times I have had to help your staff do their job when collecting mail is bordering on having a second job!

  • ntfc2 Gareth (@ntfc2) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Royal Mail still service my town, whereas you've just shut the only Post Office. So I get the difference.

  • SL_WorldPix Siu Lin (@SL_WorldPix) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Huh, really? I was fooled then. Same colour, same logo shape, same counter service, same Q, What's the difference?

  • cocobear454 cocobear4 (@cocobear454) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Our local post office is looking more and more sparce and sad every passing month. Can you help owners with this? For example ours has a mouldy looking empty drinks fridge in it. I think they last sold a drink like 5 years ago.

  • wallywooly life is short, do what makes you happy (@wallywooly) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Never new this

  • HaroldShipmanOG Harold Shipman (@HaroldShipmanOG) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Yeah, you're significantly worse. Rude employees, unresponsive customer service, and overall awful to deal with.

  • sustainablist1 Mary Fuller (@sustainablist1) reported

    @PostOffice @RoyalMail Maybe that is part of the problem.
