Today in Hexham @PostOffice - all systems are down. Queues down the street. Perhaps putting the only Post Office, in a not entirely insignificant town, in a corner of the off license, wasn't an entirely smart idea.

@PostOffice You must be having a laugh.I complained (but received no response) from @PostOffice for birthday cards sent to my wife by friends in November..sent 7 working days before her birthday but didn’t arrive til day after her bday..shocking service

Nobody told me that the @PostOffice were doing a Christmas card opening service this year. 2 today, 1 yesterday Somebody needs to tell the temp staff that the money is never in the colourful envelopes.
