Nick Lockyer (@NickLockyer) reported@will_hulse @santanderuk Not untypical for a complicated IT issue. Doesn’t mean it is a malware attack specifically. Could be as simple as a database problem, and they’re doing everything necessary to bring it back. Unless HCL are involved and they’re trying to mobilise knowledge from onshore IT

The Soup Nazi (@TheSoupNazi2) reported@santanderuk Santander have told BBC news that card payments are working as normal and ATM network is 'operational'. That certainly wasn't the case this morning. Is this now true or simply more misleading and blatantly false information?
