How about this for a whopper from @santanderuk #mortgage #brokers.... BTL app submitted a month ago, down val, so max loan reduced... requested today to take max available... sorry, that's 'a material change' so new calcs = £140k not £240k 🤯

@santanderuk In today’s world of server virtualisation and network simulations, fall over redundancy etc this doesn’t happen IF you fund your IT department correctly. This should never happen. Smells like cost cutting

@santanderuk Still doesn't help my situation as I've transferred into my Santander account but I'm being told I have insufficient funds.. 😩 so where's my money?

@santanderuk Ludicrous it’s still not working. How about a bit more clarity for your customers. Give us an ETA on when we can at least expect it to be back online.

@santanderuk Absolutely fuming with santander cant access anything trying to pay online for over 3 hours a bank your size should not be having a problem like this

  • DeathBewitched DeathBewitched (@DeathBewitched) reported

@santanderuk app working now great but not happy with the disgusting tweet I saw from one of your colleagues

  • NickLockyer Nick Lockyer (@NickLockyer) reported

@will_hulse @santanderuk Not untypical for a complicated IT issue. Doesn’t mean it is a malware attack specifically. Could be as simple as a database problem, and they’re doing everything necessary to bring it back. Unless HCL are involved and they’re trying to mobilise knowledge from onshore IT
