How about this for a whopper from @santanderuk #mortgage #brokers.... BTL app submitted a month ago, down val, so max loan reduced... requested today to take max available... sorry, that's 'a material change' so new calcs = £140k not £240k 🤯

@santanderuk terrible service. Tried to withdraw cash. Went to 2 branches closed. Customer service appalling. 3 calls due to being cut off. 4 hours later no cash. Adviser could not get an answer from a branch I suggested. “I can’t help you” still ringing in my ears!

@santanderuk terrible customer service from your #hackney branch this morning. I will no longer be opening an account with your bank.

@CStewart_CS @santanderukhelp @santanderuk I work in financial services and it's not uncommon to be on hold for over an hour. Our staff wear headsets so they can carry on working while waiting for the phone to get answered or we'd lose hours of the day. Theyll blame covid but it's been poor for a lot longer!

@santanderuk absolutely shocking service, no branches left, hours on hold (yes I know there is a pandemic but other banks have moved on) and the online 'Chat-Bot' is useless. Please go elsewhere and find yourself a modern bank in the 21st century, catch up you useless lot!

@santanderuk you make no sense!! Try to sort an overdraft, website says can only do in multiples of £50, even £50 isn’t available online! Someone sort this!

@TellYourSonThis @bryann1015 I agree, @santanderuk have caused me (and cost me) all sorts of headaches with barring/blocking payments I’ve tried to make to buy coins at the right time… terrible

Getting increasingly frustrated with @santanderuk - unable perform transactions online and no chat or phone customer service agents available, nor can they help me in branch. A global financial institution should have ways of actually performing financial transactions!

@santanderuk As a Santander customer, I loathe these ridiculous, unfunny ads. I'd like my money spent on something else - like lower bank charges.

@santanderuk A question if I may? Why would a new bank who are trying to boost their social media presence choose to block a potential customer if they've had zero dialogue with their Twitter account? Thanks in advance.
