How about this for a whopper from @santanderuk #mortgage #brokers.... BTL app submitted a month ago, down val, so max loan reduced... requested today to take max available... sorry, that's 'a material change' so new calcs = £140k not £240k 🤯

Disappointing to see yet another High Street bank cut its service to my area. This time its @santanderuk cutting opening hours claiming it give give staff more time to answer the phone. Can't understand why staff in open branches can't take phone calls when they're not busy

@santanderukhelp another hour has passed and my daughter is still waiting to speak to a fraud advisor. This is just awful. Shameful that #santanderuk can’t provide a decent helpline for customers who have been victims of fraud

@nicperrins @santanderuk We use Metro at work, about 15 different accounts, and they at least answer the phone pretty quickly. Website is a bit basic but it works!

It’s disgraceful that @santanderuk are penalising self employed people who worked hard to continue growing their business during the pandemic, purely because they accepted a single grant of support. A grant that barely covered anything. How is that fair?! Where’s the humanity?!
