    @santanderuk Santander have told BBC news that card payments are working as normal and ATM network is 'operational'. That certainly wasn't the case this morning. Is this now true or simply more misleading and blatantly false information?

    @santanderuk That does not help with making payments online or transferring money to other accounts. What remedial action will be taken on the back of this?

    @santanderukhelp @santanderuk no access to my bank account!! What is going on? You need to give customers an inconvenience fee because you’re quick to charge if someone is overdrawn. Tried to pay a tab last night & my card was card rejected! Had to switch to my other bank!!

    @santanderuk @santanderuk Thanks for your timely and courteous response, it told me all I needed to know. To *finally* - after years of putting up with an at best OK, at worst disgraceful, standard of banking and customer service - decide to remove my money from your clutches. #byesantander

    @santanderuk You'd expect a bank like Santander to have a failsafe in place so this sort of downtime does not happen. System issues happen but it should not be for this long. I wonder if it's just the big bosses taking all the money themselves and not investing in better infrastructure.
