They have asked me for documents which have been provided but now they are not good enough. They asked for a payslip which is Thai and now they want it translated.

You outsource your customer service to some third world country, where none of the advisors can speak English. Then expect poor elderly people to go to the branch when you mess up. It's shocking and shameful.

Jen Hannigan (@HanniganJen) reported@santanderuk Applied for a mortgage in principle online, approved with no issues, but no proof provided of this other than a confirmation number. Vendor quite rightfully unwilling to accept offer without confirmation of mortgage in principle. Now what?

Dave Moss (@DavidMoss315) reported@santanderuk applied for an Edge Credit Card and asked that the credit limit from my 123 card be transferred over. Told in branch this wouldn't be a problem. Two weeks later after numerous calls/ assurances it would be done I'm still waiting. Getting beyond a joke now.
