Hey @santanderuk I made a large online transfer. Your automated service rang me to check it was legit. I waited for over 10 minutes to be put through to someone then gave up on account of being at work.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk But to access PIN they’d need your 6 digit security passcode (the banks one) I can’t fathom how they did it. Unless it’s an inside job at virgin they’d have your deets via membership

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk I use a 6 figure pin. But it doesn’t help if it’s so easy to get the bank to send a “reminder”.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk So sorry to hear your situation I've had a card stolen and they managed to get the PIN somehow. It was definitely NOT written down. My guess is they have machines where they can get the info off the card. Fortunately there was CCTV everywhere the f*ckwit used the card.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk This is because there will be a PIN reminder in your bank app on your phone I had a similar issue with @AmexUK But they held their hands up that.this was a flaw their end and did not charge me Sounds like Santander you do the same here

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk I have just shown her your tweet and she has sensibly decided against an account with @santanderuk . The last thing anyone should feel is that this is the kind of Customer Service that you would recieve if you found yourself the victim of a crime.
