    @andrewt1987 @santanderuk Andrew, that would be a problem. I was lucky enough to be able to leave money in my other bank account prior to today. To be fair this type of issue with Santander doesn't happen as often as some other banks. No consolation to you today though.

    @santanderuk funny story as a customer of Santander for over 15 years As Santander can’t be bothered to update any of their customers I just left my home to walk 40 minutes to the nearest Santander bank is open on the Saturday to get a rude sell assistant that has no idea

    @santanderuk It is absolutely ridiculous. As an IT person myself, whenever I am working on a database or a database driven system, I have a backup and a contingency sat there waiting to put in place if I’m unable to complete the job in the allocated time. It’s basic IT preparation!
