@santanderuk I echo the call for more customer service staff. 40 minutes, then the staff member put us in the queue again and still holding after another 15 minutes. Not sure we'll get dinner cooked tonight. Not sure how you can state you are continuing to support your customers.

So @santanderuk close multiple branches, forcing users online then apps lack basic functionality - forcing users to use web access to account which then needs OTP via their phone. Guess I will be one of many customers looking for a functional bank?

@XmoSteve @santanderuk @santanderukhelp ..Sadly because banks are bastards. No one on their collective staff ever takes Ownership of Stuff. Santander is frequently in abysmal service stories. But they don't care, because they are making £$€bundles. Once I have my £1m to start my bank this kind of toss will end.

The fact that banks don’t transfer money on weekends shows how much more we have to do as a human civilisation. What if people’s family’s are starving and someone sent them money to help. Now they have to wait an entire day. So damn broken.. @santanderuk @BBCNews @elonmusk
