@timex Though @santanderuk, this could be your problem too. I am finding quite a few merchants online don't accept my Mastercard debit card. This is unacceptable, I think I have to change banks.

At least in 1950 there was human interaction and someone would answer with a human response not a script! Fuming!

@santanderuk put a block on my #internetbanking due to some ‘strange activity’…happy to know that they react quickly to that type of thing ✅ However, I’ve now been on hold for 1hr 17 mins, waiting to talk to someone. This is very very poor @santanderukhelp #CustomerService

@alan_gibbons @santanderuk I called the bank last week and when the automated service asked what my call was about I said “fraud” they answered me within 15 seconds. Probably because it was going to cost them money. #truestory

@santanderuk UTTERLY useless - the only way to report a lost or stolen card is through the Mobile App, but what if you lost your phone? Use the website? No - logging in to that needs to you to authenticate with the Mobile App. Stupidity!!!
