How about this for a whopper from @santanderuk #mortgage #brokers.... BTL app submitted a month ago, down val, so max loan reduced... requested today to take max available... sorry, that's 'a material change' so new calcs = £140k not £240k 🤯

Beyond disgusted with how @santanderuk are treating the students who bank with them in this time of uncertainty - you lost a faithful customer today & you also plunged her into money troubles up to her ears.

@MoneySavingExp is it really taking @santanderuk 3 days to open one of their new savings accounts (even for existing customers) …. Instant access… 3 days? #Santander

Debit card stopped working, told it was faulty (wouldn’t stop it being used online but still) Ordered new one, still can’t use contactless. Went to the branch to get help, was told no one could help as I didn’t have an appointment @santanderuk you can go & suck my salty lolly!

  • StoneIslandJim Flint Stone (@StoneIslandJim) reported

@jim07165581 @34rth4ng3lDee @santanderuk Terrible choice. Premium bonds average 2.2%, banks are paying more.

  • Greggella Gregg (@Greggella) reported

@santanderuk tried twice to apply for your new savings account, once on phone, once on laptop. Kicks you out at the last pages. Must be system issue or they’ve had too much demand? Maybe best to inform customers before filling all those forms in

  • Jonnyhibberd Jonathan Hibberd 🇺🇦 (@Jonnyhibberd) reported

Slow hand clap for @santanderuk saying Ukrainians can open bank accounts then only accepting documents for it that you would have if you already lived in the UK... 🙄

  • GavinLancs Glancs (@GavinLancs) reported

@chase_uk With @santanderuk offering 2.75% instant access savings are you going to be increasing your 1.5% savings account?
