@XmoSteve @santanderuk @santanderukhelp ..Sadly because banks are bastards. No one on their collective staff ever takes Ownership of Stuff. Santander is frequently in abysmal service stories. But they don't care, because they are making £$€bundles. Once I have my £1m to start my bank this kind of toss will end.

Is there a more useless bank than @santanderuk? Sending post to the wrong address, go in branch to get them to correct their error and are sent away as they can’t deal with it. Under current Data Protection regs it’s your duty to correct the information you hold.

Disgusting behaviour from @santanderuk - completely and suddenly cut my overdraft due to being on MATERNITY LEAVE - of course my circumstances have TEMPORARILY changed. Really disappointing service to a loyal customer and especially a new mum in this pandemic.

@santanderuk It's a shame you don't invest more of those profits into more staff. Over an hour waiting on the phone to discuss suspected credit card fraud. Very poor customer service.

To be clear a bank like @santanderuk know *exactly* what their call wait times are, when peak times are. They have service desk tooling that monitors all of this. The truth is they don't care. Their customer's time has little worth to them & their financial model to do business.
