My call to @santanderuk appeared to be answered after 57 minutes delay. The number rang several times and then it went dead. I kept shouting "hello" down the line to no avail. The result is that I have wasted an hour for nothing.

Hi @santanderuk @santanderukhelp Still waiting after 45 mins for someone to discuss the mishandling of a complaint. It appears you’re all too shy to speak to me & a very junior customer service advisor is having no luck in encouraging someone senior to take the call. Oh dear.

@santanderuk how can I get a replacement debit card- your robot has a technical issue, website has an unknown problem and the phone line is too busy. You haven’t sent me a replacement one and mine will be out of date in 2 days time. Please can you help me
