    It amazes me that traditional banks are still around. My new @santanderuk card. The letter says use vertual assistant to activate. It tells me to log in. 15 mins on the phone, lady tells me I can't log in because I dont have account details. #incompetent

    @santanderukhelp Actually, I take that thanks back. We're now into our 4th hour on hold. Payments to the carers ergo look after our father are now delayed. The service from @santanderuk is appalling. Are customers supposed to hold indefinitely?

    I’ve phoned my local Santander branch 14 times since 9.15am this morning and keep getting the message “sorry this line is busy” Our 2 refugees completed bank acc apps 2 wks ago & have heard nothing. We were told it would take 3-5 working days to process!! C’mon @santanderuk!!!

    @santanderukhelp So just tried, it’s not over 25k. Got the way to 2 factor authentication and then absolutely nothing happened! It’s almost impossible to to make online payments via @santanderuk

    @santanderuk trying to pay credit card on website. Twice I've got right to the end, did the security and then it messes up and doesn't confirm my payment has gone through.

    @santanderuk I've just noticed on my mobile app that a purchase I made yesterday at a supermarket has come out of my account twice - I've checked my receipt and I was charged for and paid the right amount but now on my transactions its a duplicate amount gone out!! Please help!

    @santanderuk My 89 year old father is having a problem with an account that he keeps with you. He has called numerous times but each time he's been disconnected - after a very long wait to speak to someone. So he's given up and is extremely anxious. What to do?

    Is there any bank that offers a reasonable telephone answering service? I have been in a queue to speak to @santanderuk for 43 minutes. Are they all just as bad?
