@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk terrible behaviour. You should be ashamed.

  • HamstersScreen hamsters.screenplay (@HamstersScreen) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk If someone has your phone, they have access to your card PIN via whatever banking apps you have installed. In the Santander app it's Manage Cards > View PIN (I can't attach a screenshot as the app doesn't screenshot for "security" reasons but I could take a photo on a 2nd phone)

  • JustGeekingBy Four days until #geekdis ♿ starts! (@JustGeekingBy) reported

@helengrantsays @santanderuk I know it was her card PIN, and you have to go through a lot of security hoops to change a PIN even if you get into the banking app, which you need the login details for. I'm not defending the bank at all, I agree they've screwed up, but some of this doesn't make sense.

@NeilMackay78 @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk So sorry to hear of your issues Charlotte. My self same thought Neil. As a Santander customer I will be thinking twice about continuing that relationship. Extremely poor customer service.

  • travistravis Travis Littlechilds (@travistravis) reported

@MorganBroadcast Locks are easy to pick - can pretty easily get under a minute if I recall right. Barriers is easy, the thieves likely broke them. Others I'm not sure, but the bank details being changed is down to @santanderuk failing at security.

  • Aphrodite3 Laura Hooper (@Aphrodite3) reported

@MorganBroadcast Really disgusted and shocked to read this. @santanderuk are truly shocking. I’ve been waiting 2 years for them to investigate fraudulent activity on my account, meanwhile leaving me no access to a bank account and blacklisted from opening another. It’s farcical.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK Im so sorry as my husband has been hacked and I know it's different it the mess it leaves behind is just awful and nobody cares !!

  • Jemstar76 Jemma Anderson 💙 (@Jemstar76) reported

@MorganBroadcast I hope @santanderuk @santanderukhelp will work with you to investigate exactly what went wrong here to protect all its customers. I’ve been a customer of theirs for 20 years+ but will switch in a heartbeat if their systems mean my money and security is compromised.

  • the_book_bitch the book ***** (@the_book_bitch) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk Unfortunately with Mastercards, etc. it’s the guides the bank follow and if a pin has been written down or provided to family/friend’s then it’s 2 counts of negligence on your behalf. The bank won’t raise it because they know they won’t win it’s case.

  • GrahamMackenz18 Graham Mackenzie (@GrahamMackenz18) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk If they had your phone and were able to access it they could get your pin from Santander app. I didn’t know you could go that until I saw your tweet
